Chapter 4

Bella

"You think you can protect everyone," a voice says.

I whip around to see a yellow eyed demon staring right at me. I laugh because now the Demon is stuck.

"You see, I'm not trying to protect everyone. Just those who you like trying to harm. My husband lost his mother because of you. You will not be killing Jess because she means a lot to me. Stupid you though bevause you are now trapped," I taunt him.

My phone starts ringing and I see Dean's number. I slide the answer button and put it on speaker.

"Hey."

"Sam just got a frantic call from Jess. Says she's staying at your house because you shot at her," Dean says.

"I didn't shoot at her. Yellow Eyes is here," I tell him.

"What the hell do you mean hes there?! Sam turn the fucking car around!" Dean yells.

"Dean, I'm fine. He's trapped and I'll be sending him back for good. Just stay on the road. In fact you can start heading to Bobbys."

"Damn it Tink, you don't have to keep doing this. Look just shoot the damn mother fucker and we'll be heading to Bobby in a week."

"Look, he's there. So just go now. The rest of us will meet you there. Gotta go."

I hang up and see the Demon watching me. I grab my journal and thumb through it. The journal has been passed down through generations and I find what I'm looking for. To finally get rid of this bastard I have to say a few things in Latin and shoot him. The door blows open and the Demon disappears.

"Son of a bitch!" I scream picking up my things.

I run two houses down and tell everyone to get moving. I call my boss and let him know that the Demon I was chasing disappeared and he says he had a feeling that would happen. He tells me that he's in South Dakota because of a human case leading him there. I tell him I'd meet up with him when I got there.

"What's going on? Where are we going?" Jess asks as she gets in the car.

"We're heading to South Dakota. My uncle lives there and my boss just called. Are you ready to meet Sam's dad?" I ask.

Char gets in Lette while Jasper gets in Doc. Peter takes Sandy because Char and I don't like leaving our babies alone. Pete and Jas have their cars in storage so they drive Doc and Sandy.

"Sam said him and his dad aren't speaking. Didn't they leave to go find their dad?"

"They did, but I called my uncle to let him know and their dad is there. I will warn you now that my uncle will have you drink Holy water before entering his house. He wants to make sure you're not possessed," I say.

"Its all true?" She says.

"Yes, I'm sorry you have to learn about it like this. Sam didn't want you knowing because when he left Dean and John he essentially left behind hunting. He had no plans on going back, but obviously things aren't as planned. Jess, you're my best friend and I won't let you get hurt," I tell her.
