(Chapter 15)(already daddy's little princess)

(Eric's p.o.v)

I stood in the kitchen by the counter that I had set Merida on.

She had an oxygen tank like me.

Austin had to be at work. She thought it would give me and Merida bonding time. I really didn't know what to do with her.

She looked at me. It was breakfast. "So what do you like darlin' " I asked. "Cake". She says. "I meant breakfast food, cake isn't breakfast". I say poking her little nose. She giggled and rubbed her nose making her oxygen tube come outta place.

I grabbed some eggs. "So , eggs sound good?" I asked him.

" and bacon ?" She asks. "Yep, and biscuits ". I say.

" yay!" She says. She was a pretty girl, I hated that many other people didn't care about her. She was wearing my t-shirt that Austin had provided her.

She had slept in the bed with us.

"Hold me". She says breaking me from my thoughts as she held her arms out to me.

I picked her up and held her on my hip. She wrapped her arms around my neck. I fixed breakfast and all. The whole time with the little red head on my hip.

I was developing feelings for the child already.

I sat her in the chair at the table.

We ate, and she gave me her plate. I put them in the dish washer. I went into the living room and sat on the couch. I picked up my pencil and writing notepad. I started writing.

Merida was playing with a doll Austin had made.

Her oxygen thing started beeping it was on low.

I hooked her up to mine quick, I could breathe, well pretty decently. She looked up at me , and smiled.

I was finally home . "I'm home chief ". I say.

"Hey". He says. He coughed.

"Baby where's your oxygen ?" I asked. "I had to give it Merida here was low, I couldn't just let her stop breathing." He says.

"I love you". I say hugging my husband.

"Daddy!" Merida says running in there to Eric. He picked her up.

"Already daddy's little princess". I say. " yep." Eric says .
