I tie back my golden curly hair in a pony tail and sneak a peek out of my window. The forest next to me and mommy's house is creepy. I hear a rustling sound in the forest. "What was that sound?" I thought to myself. I feel like I need to explore. Besides, it couldn't be a monster, because monsters don't exist. I don't have time to put my regular clothes on so I grab a pair of Nike sneakers, and put them on. As I crept along the carpeted stair case and heard mommy snoring. I am thankful that she chaperoned my fabulous birthday party. Mommy has great taste! I am careful not to wake mommy up. The floor boards creak under my feet. With every sound I make, comes a wince. I finally made it to the back door. Fear runs through my veins. "It's too late to turn back," I whisper to myself. When I finally gather up enough courage to open the door, I reach my hand out, barely touching the door's handle. It's golden handle glistening in the moon's light. I take a deep breath and push the door open as quietly as I can.
