"you did WHAT?" his little sisters eyebrows furrowed as she listened to donghyucks words.

"you scored a date with a hot canadian?" donghyucks face turned red and he smacked his sisters arm.

"it's not a date!" donghyuck screeched at her and covered his face with his hands, making her cackle loudly.

"whatever you say duckie!" he pouted softly and rolled his eyes at her.

"shut up."

"what's not a date?" donghyucks eyes widened once he heard his mother's voice. he sent a glare at his sister, hoping that she wouldn't open her mouth.

except, she did.

"donghyuck met a cute canadian boy that flirts with him and they're going on a date today. he told me not to tell you but i think you should know." she got up and smirked at donghyuck, deciding to get a water bottle and watch the shitshow she created.

"LEE EUNJI, I WILL SHOVE MY FOOT SO FAR UP YOUR ASS THAT I MY TOE WILL COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH." eunjis smirk never left her face while she opened the water bottle and took a sip.

"donghyuck lee! you got a boyfriend and didn't tell your parents?" donghyucks eyes closed when he heard the door shut.

"duckie has a boyfriend?" he sighed once he heard renjuns voice. he looked behind him to see his friends and his father's head peeked out of the bathroom.

"you have a boyfriend? what's his name?" donghyuck screamed internally, he was tempted to run into the bathroom and chug some of the shampoo so he'd get poisoned and die.

or maybe he could jump out of the window, that might be quicker.

"HE ISNT MY BOYFRIEND!"

"are they talking about mark from the elevator incident?" donghyucks heart dropped. he glared at jeno.

"LEE JENO, WHY WOULD YOU SAY HIS NAME?"

"i wanna meet your boyfriend donghyuck! i wanna meet mark!" once he heard his mom say that, he stood up quickly and sprinted to the door.

"oops, gotta go! we're meeting for lunch and i don't wanna be late now bye!" he spoke quickly and exited the room before his family and friends could interrogate her any longer.

he huffed while he heard eunjis witch-like cackle and ran into the open elevator.

"hey donghyuck!" he looked over at mark and waved, trying to catch his breath. he pulled up his pants and fixed his shirt.

"hey mark." he smiled and panted, gaining attention from the other boy.

"are you okay?" donghyuck just forced a smile and pushed his head back against the wall.

"yup, peachy keen! wanna know why?" mark could sense the sarcasm in his voice. he nodded, wondering why donghyuck seemed off.

"cause my little devilish bitchy sister decided to tell my parents that we were going out for lunch and told them that you were my boyfriend. my friends came in, the ones that were in the elevator with us during those incidents, and one of them exposed your name. i'm fan-fucking-tastic and it's all because of that little bitch." once the elevator doors opened, his eyes widened and he cursed under his breath.

"shut up, i'm not a bitch. i will embarrass you in front of your little boyfriend." he glared at her while mark tried to stifle his laughter.

"how the hell did you get here? god, you haunt me everywhere i go, fuck off." mark started laughing a bit, amused by their interaction.

"that's her? the devil sister? she's so small!" as donghyuck look over at him, mark noticed that his eyes were full of an emotion he could recognize. it was like anger and anxiety and fear and aggressiveness all at once.

"don't underestimate her.....anyways, why the hell are you here? can't you go bother jaemin or some shit?" she just rolled her eyes and continued walking with them.

"nah, mom told me to spy on you guys during your date." donghyuck groaned while mark smiled. he enjoyed watching the two bicker. he wished he had a younger brother to pick on. he only had his older cousin johnny and johnny was always high and acted dumb.

"leave, i don't want you to be here." he didn't even have to look at her, he knew she rolled her eyes and made a face because that's all she did.

"what's wrong duckie? are you afraid i'm gonna embarrass you in front of your boyfriend?" his face became pink once he heard the nickname slip out of her mouth. his sister had been calling him that ever since the the two were extremely young. since she couldn't really pronounce donghyuck, she said duckie, a mix of dongie and hyuckie (his dad called him dongie and his mom called him hyuckie) so it eventually became his nickname.

"well, it's too late for that." he looked away from his younger sister, glancing at her to try and tell her to stop but obviously she wouldn't listen.

she just didn't understand how embarrassing it was.

he already embarrassed himself in front of this boy multiple times but using his childhood nickname was a different thing.

of course, he wasn't asking her to not say it. he was fine when she called him that in front of his friends or at home and even over the phone.

but not in front of a hot canadian guy he met 4 days ago.

"duckie...?" mark stopped as he spoke up, catching the attention of the siblings.

"yeah, duckie. wait, he didn't even tell you his nickname? what type of boyfriend are you lee donghyuck?" donghyuck cheeks became warmer and warmer by the second.

he just wanted her to leave.

"i told you to leave! if you don't leave by the time i count to 0, i will slit your kneecaps and ship you to taiwan. or, i'll wait until you go to bed and tell jaemin that you had a crush on him when you were 12." she shuddered, horrified from her terrifying past.

"you win for now duckie." she glared at him and walked away, leaving the two alone.

"i'm so sorry about her! gosh, she's so annoying!" mark chuckled softly as they walked out of the hotel and towards a nearby cafe.

"it's fine, at least she told me about your nickname, it's so cute!" donghyucks face flushed in embarrassment as mark grabbed his hand.

"a cute nickname to match a cute person."
