Niki entered the school nervously. She hid her ears with her hair, hoping no one noticed.

"Niki!" Mr. Sumon said, "How many times do we have to tell you to take off the stupid headband at school? We have uniform policies for a reason."

"Yes sir..." Niki said shyly as Mr. Sumon removed the headband with the fake ears attacked to the side. Niki laid back her large black cat ears in embarrassment.

Mr. Sumon sighed. "Now get to class. And don't be late!" He called after Niki had taken off running to her first period class.

During third period she had Mr. Sumon for science. Niki slammed her head on the table. Her lab partner, Mia, tilted her head out of sympathy. "He took the headband again, didn't he?"

Niki stood up and slammed her hands on the desk. "Of course he did! That no good, stupid, mean, asshole-"

Niki stared in shock as Mr. Sumon stood over her desk. "Is there an issue, Niki?"

"Eh? N- no Mr. Sumon! It's this book, you see. The villain, he did some bad stuff and made me mad."

Niki put on her most charming smile and Mr. Sumon rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Niki that's a nonfiction book on World War II."

"I, er, really hate Hitler?" Niki improvised.

Mr. Sumon sighed. "Please pay more attention in class."

Niki just about died of embarrassment.

But now she had an idea.

"I know that look," Mia said as they left class, "Whatever you plan to do, don't do it."

The next day when Niki and Mia entered third period they saw a fuming Mr. Sumon at his desk...

...Wearing a pink tuxedo.

"Mr. Sumon! You can't wear that! We have a dress code for a reason you know," Niki said.

"Yo- YOU! You did this!" Mr. Sumon was pissed.

"Why on earth would you think that?" Niki asked.

"I swear..."

"Love the outfit Mr. Sumon!" said another girl as she entered the classroom.

The teacher groaned.

Niki smirked.

Revenge was sweet.
