William's pov
As the little girl slept, I was deep in thought of her mother, Summer rose. I had heard she passed a long time ago but I never thought her daughter would be so broken.
I stood up and walked out of the room and into the living room. I thought about my past, i sighed and rubbed my face.
A sudden knock on my door caught my attention. I approach it with caution and awareness of my surroundings. I opened it and saw two old college of mine, Tai yang and Qrow Barwen.
Me: Well, long time no see.
Tai: Hey, Will sorry for barging in like this.
Me: Nah, its fine.
Qrow: So, how have you been?
I didn't answer that question because i noticed a slight tone of guilt in their voices.
Me: What the fuck did you guys do?!
Tai: Ruby ran away, and it's all our fault.
Qrow: And we came here to ask for your help.
Me: Leave
T/Q: What?
Me: I said leave, or do you want a repeat of what happened in Vale 13 years ago?
They both shook their heads no and ran off from my house. I sighed as i heard a shuffle come closer to me, it was ruby. She ran to me and embraced me with tears rolling down her cheeks.
Me: My little rose from this day forth, you are no longer a rose. But a noon i will protect you till the world ends.
Ruby(crying): Thank you so much daddy.
