A New Year

A New Year a glorious time for people to start again, well not for me you shall see I'm perfectly fine as I am 'You shouldn't wear that, what's wrong with your hair? Why is she always like that? Maybe it's time we'll all pitch in a dime for you to make a change'

I scream and shout but they won't let me back out I accept the offer and the end has came and it's time to count down A New Year a fine time for me to make a change 'I'll change this about me, I'll change that maybe they will appreciate the new and golden me'

That's all a lie

They will never appreciate you they want more

It makes my heart bleed and become sore as I say goodbye to the old run down year

A New Year a horrid time that makes me want to cry I try and try to make them see that this new person isn't me but all they see is a New Year a happy glorious time where people change to make themselves look great but in reality they are dying inside
