Chapter 5
(Taylor’s P.O.V)
When they let me See Tori again it was two days ago and sense then I haven’t left her bed side. She hadn’t woken up yet and Maddie has been worried sick. She stays on the other side of Tori’s bed and Cam takes her home at night but I know that she still gets little sleep. As long as I remember sense those two girls meet they’ve been so over protective of each other. I loved Maddie like a sister too, I would do anything to keep her safe and to see her like this killed me more then I was already dead.
I called my parents many times but knowing them they told me that I had to stay with my sister while they go hot tubing in Spain. They made me sick sometimes.
It was early morning when I woke up that day and right after I woke up a nurse came in. Surprised I said hello but she didn’t say it back. She gave me a look of pity and asked me to step out into the hallway. I did as she said with a horrible feeling in my gut. I was happy Maddie was safely at home so she wouldn’t hear the conversation although I knew I would tell her later.
“Yes,” I said with concern.
She didn’t say anything happy or anything sad she just gave the news to me straight forward, “your sister has two forms of cancer a minor nerve cancer and a major stomach cancer.”
What else was there to do the ball of joy and happiness I use to know is now a ball of infection that was killing her. I started bawling, yelling, and cursing ever so badly. I couldn’t think straight she wasn’t going to be the same and neither were the people around her. Why did this have to happen to such a sweet and amazing person? I would never know and all I thought to do was to tell everyone that would listen.
