"What do you think they're talking about?" (Y/n) asked, kicking the small stones on the walkway in the park. Namjoon shrugged beside her.

"I told him how it works and he said he had something anyway," he replied.

"I hope they make some progress. Honestly, I just want to go and tell them that they like each other, but we gotta give them their own time."

"You're right. I hope they really hit it off. I can just imagine how nervous he's going to be."

"And she's clueless. Wow."

Namjoon laughed. "It will be nice if they get together."

"You are horribly good at coping with this," (y/n) said, impressed. Namjoon looked up from staring at his feet.

"Hm?"

"You liked Ji-soo and now you're pairing her with your friend. It should be hard, but you're pretty happy," she pointed out.

"I actually, I don't know how or when it happened. But around after we started talking on the phone, I just lost the hopes. I talked to her and realised, that this isn't what I want. I want something else."

(Y/n) stopped and faced him with a smile.

"Oh? Well, that's good. At least you realised it. Better late than never."

The park didn't have many people at the time, so (y/n) started skipping ahead. Namjoon laughed and followed.

"Yeah."

Suddenly, she twisted on her heel to face him and her balance went off, making her fall. But Namjoon foresaw it and quickly grabbed her waist and didn't let her fall.

The two stood extremely close, their bodies against each other's, staring into the other's eyes.

His dark brown eyes held something that (y/n) couldn't quite place. They were boring into hers with a soft but intense look. She felt the breath leave her body.

"Are you okay?" Namjoon breathed out, his warm breath fanning her face nearly from the intimacy. She gulped.

"Yeah, I'm fine," she whispered back. "I..."

She paused, forgetting her words as she realised what position they were in. Her breath left her body as colour started painting itself on her cheeks.

"(Y/n)..." He said, not stepping back. "You're... really the most awe-inspiring person I have ever had the pleasure to meet."

He stepped back quickly, letting her go. Her face flushed, as she quickly looked down, nervously fixing her clothes.

"Sheesh, you, you scared me with that," she laughed nervously. "Thanks for catching me."

"Y- Yeah, no problem," Namjoon said back, feeling like he really messed it up. "I'm sorry for making it... weird."

"No, Joonie, it's okay," she said with a smile. "I know you... At least, I think I do. So don't worry. I know you're a good guy."

Namjoon didn't reply and covered his face with his hands. She couldn't help but giggle at that.

"Joonie, are you embarrassed?" She teased, prying his large, warm hands off his face. "Aw, so cute!"

He blushed and she just gave an amused smile, before pulling him into a hug. Placing her left ear against his chest, she inhaled deeply.

"I'm an idiot, but I'm really happy I got to know you and that you're my friend. So please, don't feel sorry about anything unless it's something really wrong. Like murder. Which you can't do. You're so sweet, you can't kill a fly."

Namjoon chuckled and she could feel the vibrations coming from his chest. She flushed again, pulling back with a grin.

"You really think that way of me?" He asked. She nodded immediately without a single ounce of hesitation. "You think too highly of me."

"Well, whoever said you aren't high?" She teased, before running off, Namjoon chasing after her.
