The grating sound of metal slamming against metal could be heard from the darkness at the end of the twisted corridor in the forbidding otherworldly version of the Ashley Connor School. The strident cacophony was followed up by terrifying shrieks and incoherent, rambling voices. Two black-robed figures were standing in the foyer surveying their surroundings.
"Are you sure they were seen here?" asked the female of the two.
"Yes. The intel stated this is where they were last sighted. However, we don't know their current whereabouts," replied the male.
"Either way, we can't let these remnants run loose. It's up to us to stabilize the situation."
"That's right. I'll report to HQ once we've cleared the area." The two individuals dashed off down the corridor, charging at whatever was lurking in the dark.
