He's a first year at Iwatobi high school, meaning he's 15–16 years old.

Gender:
A cisgender male.

Sexuality:
Bisexual with a lean towards men—
not that he'd be interested in dating a boy. In high school at least. He's scared of getting bullied or judged for his sexuality.

Personality:
He's a rather chill guy with a weird sense of humour. Jaden always finds himself lacking enthusiasm and energy when it comes to the one thing he loves the most: Volleyball. He can get rather discouraged whenever he misses a spike or gets blocked, however it doesn't stop him from trying his best every other time and putting on a brave face for his teammates.
He's rather goofy and likes making his friends laugh, also a bit of a daredevil when in front of a big crowd. Or a person he's trying to impress,
Jaden is known for being reckless, like one time he sprained his ankle on the court but hid it from everybody. He claimed he was fine but broke down crying at the end when they finally figured out what happened. Because of his injuries there aren't enough players to play a game, which leads them to sometimes dropping out due to not having enough players. He's very guilty and is really hard on himself— it seems to happen so often that everyone calls him klutzy.

Likes:
• energy drinks - they keep
him awake he's not really
energetic or filled with stamina
like Hinata is. He relies on
energy drinks the majority of
the time. Which is a bad habit.

• volleyball - he begged his
school to make a volleyball
club. It was shocking when
they actually let him make
one! After all it's basically
a team filled with first years
and their captain is a first
year. It's surprising as hell
that the school board let a
first year be captain.

• napping - he's a very lazy
And laid back person, so
he loves a good nap when
given the chance!

• hair dye - he's OBSESSED
with dying his hair! He's so
lucky that his school doesn't
mind hair dye! His current hair
colour is red.

• piercings - he's finds
piercings super hot! He
doesn't exactly know why
but they just look super
good on people.

Fears:
• letting his teammates
down - he has some unhealthy
things that have turned
themselves into bad habits.
for example: not drinking
enough water, relying on
energy drinks, getting bad
burnouts, and so forth. So
it's only natural for him to
worry about his health.

•spiders - just hates them
with a burning passion.
creepy and crawly...
The thought makes him
shudder.

Weaknesses:
• obviously his poor job of
taking care of his body.
• overworking himself.
• his trust issues with
other people.
• his hard headed and
stubborn personality. At one
point Kuroo was trying to help
him but he just kept refusing
because of his ego.

Background:
Him and his mom lived in New York for the majority of his life, however this attractive Tokyo man came along one day and swept her off of her feet! They moved to Tokyo and it turned out that he was a rather wealthy man! Owning a big company dedicated to sports equipment. Jaden and his step dad could never seem to get along no matter how much they tried.
He was really struggling with learning the language at one point, but definitely knew he wanted to form a volleyball team! After gathering five other people they finally got permission from the school board to make a volleyball team! Despite them all being first years...

Crush:
• Kuroo - Kuroo was very surprised when hearing there was a first year captain! This made him give Jaden some good advice about handling and managing a team. After that Jaden just kept admiring Kuroo because of his kindness and leadership.

• Bokuto - Jaden really admires Bokuto's upbeat energy towards volleyball and being an ace.
He generally finds the other very attractive and tries his best to be around Bokuto whenever there is a training camp. It makes him sad that they don't hang out outside of volleyball though.

• OR Lev - they just goof off and hang around a lot with each other!
They're both first years and share an interest in wanting to get even
better at volleyball! With that
being said... Jaden finds himself helping Lev out a lot with practices
on their free time. When he's
much rather be just hanging out
with him.
