Channel pov
It's been five hurtful years since I last saw Levi I still haven't found the right moment to tell Ruby that her father wants nothing to do with us he made that clear five years ago.....
Ruby keeps asking me how come she doesn't have a father like all her friends at school she also said that some kids made fun of her it breaks my heart to see my baby suffer..... My friends Lisa and Kevin thinks that I should move on and they think I should date so I agree to go on a date which is in 2 hours from now and I have no idea what to wear and who is the guy they set me up with .... I just hope that my date accepts Ruby and me I really want to see her happy she is my pride and joy I would do anything for my baby girl I have been supporting my daughter since she was born I have been both mother and father to her I know all her pikes and dislike......

The time had finally gotten dressed for my date tonight and according to Kevin and Lisa he is supposed to be here right about now .... I was about to change my mind about going out with a compelete stranger when they was a knocking on the door Lisa went and answer the door and she told me that my date had arrived ....
After what seem like forever we arrived at a fancy restaurant and soon we were seated at a table for two I found out that my date was some playboy billionaire who women throw themseleves at his name was none other than Damon Purity ...he order salmon and I on the other hand order stake and champagne .....After dinner Damon paid and we left he took me to his penthouse it was beautiful and he said to me tell me more about yourself ... I told him that my parents are back in New York and they come to visit me every three months and I also have a daughter who name is Ruby and that I don't really date since my last date didn't go well cause they guy only wanted me for sex and he didn't like Ruby....I told him how children made fun of ruby and how her father don't want anything to do with her and she keeps asking about her father which I have to tell her about him sooner or later .....
The next thing  I know was that Damon and I were kissing don't get me wrong I didn't want him to stop  but some how I slapped him and told him to never kissed or touch me again and with that I left his penthouse and took a cab home ... I got upstairs and I went to find ruby asleep I kissed her goodnight and I walked out of her room ... I went to the bathroom and took a shower and put on my bag girl shorts and a t-shirt I hopped into bed and then I was thinking about Damon and how I slapped him I fell asleep ......

The following morning I woke up to ruby shaking me telling me she was hungry so I told her that she needed to shower then I give her breakfast ...few minutes later ruby and I were having breakfast when there was a Knocking on the door I told ruby to stay where she was and i went to open the door only to found Damon standing with a bouquet of roses my favorite pink  he apologize about last night and promise that it won't happen again I forgive him and allow him inside he got to meet ruby and he asked her question and she answered it I was in the kitchen doing the dishes when I heard coughing ... Ruby whole face was pink and we quickly her to the hospital it turns out that he give  Ruby strawberry she is alegric to it the doctor give her some medicine for that...

Damon pov
I didn't know that Ruby was allergic to strawberry or else I would not have given her any I saw channel panic and she was so scared and afarid that something might happen to her baby girl ... Channel is the kind of woman that I want to marry cause she is so different from everyone else I have met she's smart and kind caring and loving.. I will ask her to marry me when I find the right moment.....
