The Day

AUTUMN

"Today, the principal told me to tell you this event that's happening in classrooms and around the school. It's called Speed-Friending. its kind of like Speed-Dating, but you won't be dating, you'll be making friends!" Mr. Medina tells the class about this event.

I here slight whispers people are saying "are you gonna go?","I'm gonna do it so I can meet new people!" and "That seems like a dumb idea, who would go!?"

That kind of sounded like a good idea, I don't know, I might go.

"Hey Autumn, are you going?" Rainbow tells me

"I don't know, I might." I replied

"I think you should go. Just to make new friends!" 'She tells me

"Ok, I'll give it a try." I tell her

"Ok!" Then she walks off

TONIGHT

"John? Ender?" I see them walking into classrooms,

"Hey Autumn!" I hear Ender say

It's a full house in almost every class, I signed up so I have my own place, like people come to me and I don't go anywhere. But it's only for girls who can just stay. Wait, I just found the secret behind it.

The first bell rings and I'm at my place and the first guy comes up. He looks all big, not like strong big, I mean fat big!

"Hi, I'm Aut-"

"Hi!mynameisRandyandcanyou..." He just kept talking and talking. I didn't know what he was talking about and I couldn't understand him

Luckily, the next bell rings and this other guy comes in and he looks like a kid who is fit, but doesn't look like it

"Hi, I'm James," He said

"Hi, I'm Autumn!"

"Wait, I think I see something," he stands up and tries to look behind me, but he was trying to look inside my shirt.

"What are you doing!?" I yell

"Nothing, don't worry," then he comes closer

"I have a boyfriend you know!" I'm really mad, I don't know a single person who would do this.

Then the next bell rings.

The next guy is, John?

"Hey John." I say a little confused

"Oh! Hi Autumn!"

For now, John is the best one yet

"So, I didn't get to know you that well last time, do you want me to go first or do you want to go?" He asked me

"You go,"

"Ok, how would your friends describe you?" He asked me

I never thought of that actually

"Some people would say like smart, artistic, and funny. that's what I hear my friends tell me." I say

"Ok, second question, where did you live before you came here?"

"I lived somewhere in the South, I can't remember the exact place, but that's where I live."

The bell rings and it's time to switch.

It's going to be a long day.
