after the tragic event that had taken place on the roundabout, jaime found herself slowly waking up in a hospital bed and she found her eyes trying to adjust to the illuminate lights that were placed above her in strategic lines.
she gently tried to lift her head and scan her eyes around the room that was laid out before her. she noticed a tall and strange looking man enter the room and slowly stroll towards her bed.
"good after noon jaime" he seemed sincere and sweet but at the same time he seemed puzzled and scary as he towered over jaime like the leaning tower of pizza.
"good afternoon"
"it's okay sweetie, you have some visitors" the nice doctor left and the two visitors entered.
jaime could see them from a mile a way, it was a tall tanned figure with silky black hair combed to the side and accompanying him was a girl, with long blonde hair and one nose ring that hung loosely on her septum.
"what are you doing here?" jaime shrugged as she tried to turn her hair to the side but felt a twinge in the left muscle of her neck
"we heard about the accident and we wanted to show we care by being here" emma giggled slightly as she sat on the edge of her bed
"you were the reason the accident happened" jaime snarled at them as someone walked into her room and re fluffed her pillow so her head was fully supported.
"i am?! oh my god seriously jaime i am so sorry for all of this" oliver had content in his voice "emma can you leave for a second?" emma huffed as she strolled out of the room and down the hallway to the vending machine
"look, ollie. i get it, you're in love with her now" jaime wanted to gag at the thought of them together
"i don't have feelings for her, i was selfish and wanted to teach you a lesson about back stabbing but it went to far and you got hurt" ollie sighed as he approached my bed and crouched down so he was face level.
"ollie, that's so sweet. honestly i have never stopped loving you, and i don't think i can but honestly the way we ending things isn't good for my health or for yours" ollie frowned at these words and was now slowly making his way to the door with his head bowed.
"if you feel that way then there is nothing i can do, just don't come running to me when you want me for anything" he left the room with a sudden slam of the door and i felt a gust of wind as the door closed.
i felt a sudden wave of sadness as the door closed and i could hear faint foot steps trolling down the corridor. i couldn't do anything because i was trapped to wires and machines. so i just lay, wondering what went wrong in my life and how i ended up here.
5 months later
jaime had gotten out of hospital and was settling in with her dad nicely, her mother had made the decision that it was better for her to move away from the chaos for a while and live in the countryside for as long as she felt neededjaime walked through the door of her bedroom and immediately collapsed onto the bed, she hadn't felt real comfort from a lovely cushioned mattress in 5 months and it finally felt like she was walking on air and she had fallen into a pile of clouds.
"is there anything i can get you honey?" her dad appeared at the door and loosely leant on the door frame.
"could i just get some water? not feeling up to eating anything" her dad nodded as he walked downstairs and closed to the door
jaime walked to the window and watched as all of the birds were flying high above the pool of green trees and different coloured flowers. she smiled as she opened the window and held out her hand. she found that a bird fell into her finger, much like the ones in the fairytales, she honestly felt like she was the mother of nature and that was a disney princess.
