You and Jaren had become great friends over the years (though not as close as John and him). You spent most of your time texting, sending memes, sharing jokes, screaming "YEET" at your friends. The two of you were practically inseparable.

But towards the public, the both of you were secretive towards your personal lives. But you couldn't say the same about each other. You told each other practically everything. Almost nothing was a secret between the two of you. There was only one thing you never told each other. You both deeply wanted to find your soulmate.

The two of you had never seen each other's faces. Jaren had planned on showing himself to you but he always was busy with editing that he never got around the chance to do it. That wasn't really the reason. The truth is that he desperately wanted you to be his soulmate. But he was scared that if you saw each other that nothing would happen.

It was clear that the two of you had a thing for each other. You were constantly pestered by Tyler that you two should finally get together. You were scared. So that's when he got the idea to invite you to his house when Independence Day came around. But not just you. The both of you.

He had the whole thing laid out. He was gonna invite the both of you to his house, but he wasn't gonna let you say anything to Smitty. You were a bit against the idea, but you went along with it anyway. You had never went to go see him in person, so you figured it'd be a fun experience.

Eventually the day rolled around and you grabbed your bags and headed for the airport. By the time you landed in Tennessee, Craig had come to pick you up. You tilted your head in confusion.

"Where's Tyler?" you ask. Craig smiled at you.

"He had to go stay at his house when Anthony came." He replied. I nodded and got in the car. "Good to see you though." He smiled. "You have some cute looking (E/C) eyes too."

You looked at him in disbelief. "Craig, you can see colour?"

He chuckled softly and blushed. "Yeah. It happened when me and Sami met. I was a bit scared to tell her, but I came around eventually."

You smile brightly. "Aw, I'm so happy for you!"

"Thanks. It's amazing, really. You don't really focus on seeing colour, you focus more on seeing the person in front of you that you don't even notice. Then it all hits you and suddenly you realize that the person in front of you is the One."

"Wish I knew what that felt like.." You frowned a bit. Craig smiled reassuringly.

"You'll find the One eventually. I know it." He replied. You smiled and the both of you drove off to Tyler's place.

Upon arriving you noticed John hadn't shown up. You found Tyler in the kitchen. "Where's John?"

Tyler froze. He didn't expect you to ask that. "Oh, uh. Scotty and Chrissy's car broke down so he went to go help them." He bluffed. His timing could have been better though. Scotty and Chrissy walked through the door with Kelly behind them. John wasn't with them.

You shot tyler a glare. "Tyler, what's going on?"

Tyler froze on spot. He didn't know what to tell you. Smitty was on his way now and he didn't wanna ruin the surprise for either of you. He bluffed again, but not as much. "Okay, okay. John and I had the idea of making your first time here special so he went out to get something."
