Behind the door is an empty void. Forever empty, but no one knows if that is true. Some dare step into it because "yolo" and some choose to. But whatever happens, no one comes back.

The door is a curious one. It has a mahogany frame and no handles. It looks like it's been there since life began because that is how old it is. People try to cover is up with plants and ivy because they're scared of the void, but every living thing to close will soon shrivel up and die.

People say that everything had a good and bad, a life and death. Though no one mentions the limbo in between. When you are in this limbo, the weight of your life is thrown onto your shoulders and your lifeless body is mumbling around still. Food seems delicious, but it's always one step away and you just can't eat it. You'll be scraped like you've fallen down and crashed everyday. It's a horrid, wretched pain and those people in limbo try to stay strong, but some go to the door.

It's not unusual for someone to get out of limbo and make it alive. Some people think that the experience in limbo make them more vulnerable, but in truth is makes them stronger. People ask these survivors why would they get into limbo, and the survivors will always say it's because of the people around them.

If you would open the door and wave your arm in, you would feel nothing. If you would wave your leg inside, then there would not be a floor. Some people say curiosity killed the cat and I say that's true-because opening the door is one step closer to death.
