Hi everybody! For anyone who doesn't know, I'm Isadora and I'm stoked to be sharing my latest work with you guys. A few notes before I start:

> In this book, I will be exploring how governments fall from republics to dictatorships. It is not inspired by anything happening in the world today. If you do find any similarities, all I am going to say is that dictatorships are a universal stage of society - they happen no matter what age we are, no matter how far we think we have come. 

If you're here for the love story and not the political aspect, just skip the opening dialogue of every chapter. It's usually just the first dialogue.

>If I had to pinpoint an inspiration for the governmental system, I would say France during the French Revolution and consequent Napoleonic Wars

>There is no cast, just imagine the characters however you want to imagine them!

>If anything seems confusing, please message me. This is my first book, mistakes are bound to happen. I'm perfectly fine with grammar corrections as well, so go for it!
