Ϻ𝚒ᴨ𝑔𝑎ƞ : The Battle of the Wolves

Chapter 1

Run! I must run!! I look everywhere for the beast that i'm running from. I have NO idea what or who im running from to be honest. All I know is that im afraid of it. It's dead of night in the middle of the woods. I'm lost. I don't know where i'm at or why i'm here. This scenery looks like it came from a horror movie. Like "Friday the 13th" or "Wrong Turn" but 10x's worse. Stopping for a moment to take a breath, the sound of feet crunching the leaves on the ground grew closer.

It sounds like a group of... people? Dogs? I have no idea but I need to keep going. Running as fast as I can through these dark trees. Leaves of brown still falling down making it seem like it was raining. "What am I gonna do?" I think to myself.  "Grrrrrrrrrrr". They sound closer! I feel my body start to panic. My legs starting to feel weak. But then the panic feeling went away as soon as i see a clearing up ahead. I run as hard as I can. "Your almost there!! DON'T GIVE UP YET!!!". My heart sank as I got closer to the clearing.. Well it's not a clearing at all!! It's a cliff! I stopped and looked down to see if I could jump.. It's no use.. I'm gonna die either way. I'm gonna die by whatever catches me or by jumping a what looks like a 140 ft cliff. There's no water at the bottom so of course im not gonna jump.

I turn toward the woods and see a lot of red eyes. I can't move.... I feel tears sliding down my face. I know this is it.. The end of the road. I see movement from the woods. A wolf of black fur growls and drools as it walks toward me. The others come out but they have black, gray, or brown fur. None of them looked like the one in front of me so im guessing that he or she is the alpha. It's firey red eyes seem to gaze in my soul.  " Young one. Its great to finally meet you " growled the wolf. "You can talk?" i asked in disbelief. "Grrr yess all us wolves can talk. But sadly you won't remember " he liked his lips and steps closer. I try to back away but almost slipped off the cliff. "Wh...what do you mean? " I stutter. The wolf laughs then howls. It's a beautiful full moon.. The night i'm going to die. He pounces and then....

ARRRR ARRRRR ARRRRR ARRRR.

My eyes slowly open to see the wonderful light of day outside my window. whew. It was only a dream. Thank you alarm clock! I slowly get up and stretch. Then turn off the alarm clock cause it gets annoying after a while. What a weird dream.. So scary and very very fake. Wolves can't talk nor would they ever!!!! I don't usually have bad dreams or any dreams. It could be a sign.. but I don't believe in that.

DING

I look at my phone and open a message.

Hey Mingan I was hoping you could come to Riswald Zoo to take care of some animal problems. Someone called today saying they'll pay a lot of money if you help their most prized wolf. She is a rare snow white wolf. Her condition is unknown. Please reply back

I sigh. More wolves... just what I needed. Riswald zoo... I haven't been there for a long time. I think the last time I was there I was in high school. Barrett was my boyfriend then. He LOVED animals. We spent most of high school at that zoo. Most of that time I never seen the white wolf. She must be new. I twist my brownish pinkish hair as I re-read the message from Mai over and over again. Mai is taller than me. She has long legs with beautiful, long blonde hair. She has a good hour glass body. Some people call her Perfect Barbie. She could be like Barbie... if it weren't for her shy personality. She wears clothes that covers her perfect figure. Yes only people who are really close to her seen her in her bikini. I am her best friend haha. I start typing away on my phone.

Hey Mai call them and tell them im on my way. And also ask them if the wolf looks sick or anything. Like what is it doing thats not normal at all.  Also Mai... you dont need to put your name on the message XD i have your name saved. Hahaha ;P

I laugh a little as I re-read my message. I hurry and grab the strawberry poptarts, my bag and car keys. It was a long drive from my house to Riswald. Im guessing a 30-40 mile drive. When im on the road.. I don't pay attention. I know my way around Accalia. Accalia is known to be the city of the she-wolf. The people here believe that all these wolf legends are real. And Accalia is part of Adolph Country. Adolph is a beautiful place, its a land of green.. Not like the other countries like Kelekona and Cailleach. Like Adolph.. They have legends too. Kelekona is land of fire.. Mostly sand and never rains. They have no trees or grass. Not very beautiful but their legends are based on dragons. Cailleach is the land of ice and snow. Known for magic. Their legends are based on witches,warlocks, and voodoo. But all the countries together make a kingdom. The Kingdom of Cholengedwa. (Will be writing more to finish this chapter)
