Hey! I'm a guy and not gay, so don't hate. I'm just a hopeless romantic!

Nates P.O.V.

The alarm blares making me fall onto the floor.

"Damnit!" I yell. My sister Ava comes running to see what happened. As soon as she spots me, her face goes from confusion to an up turned smile.

"Haha. Laugh it up, I just fell on my ass and all you do is giggle!" She continues to crack up and I flip her off. I slowly make my way into my huge bathroom. I look in the mirror and notice my brown hair is spiked up in all directions, bringing out my hazel eyes. I look at my chiseled body and smirk. 'well self. You are still hot, as always.' Man, I really am hot aren't I?

My smile grows brighter as I realize I have school. No. If you were wondering I actually hate school, but most of the chicks are hot and ready to go, and my friends know I have dibs on a few. I just wish that the hottest ones weren't so... Hateful to me and my friends. Even the jocks who are like me stay away. I'm not repulsive or anything, I hope. I quickly take a shower and spike my hair then put on some jeans and my monster tee. Walking out of my closet I find I'm feeling, how do I say this, good about how today will go. I sprint out of my room and slide down the banister for two story's then hop of at the turn. I remember last time I tried to make the turn. And still have the scar on the back of my neck. I open my pantry, grabbing the bread to make some toast.

"NATE!" yells my mother.

"YEAH MOM?" I reply loudly.

"HAVE FUN AT SCHOOL TODAY!"

Huh. Weird. She never cares about me or anything I do for that matter. I wonder briefly if this has to do with my good mood, before dismissing the idea. How could this, complete, feeling have anything to do with how much my mom gives a shit? Whatever. The toaster pops, making me jump.

"Ahhh!" I scream.

"First the bed and now the toaster." Says Ava sarcastically. "Bravo, dipshit."

"Hey!" I joke. "Name calling is not acceptable, assface."

"Dick."

"Bitch."

"Teddybear tickle my pickle!" She shouts then runs to the massive garage, grabbing the keys to her porsche on the door. My sister is so weird. But I love her anyways. I jog off after her but grab the keys to my Astin Martin, deciding to change it up today. Who knows what else I'll change up. Today I am king, of a small kingdom, sure but king all the same.

I pull up to the campus and jump out the door. I look around for a second then spot Miranda under a tree with some of her friends. I sprint over and tackle her to the ground.

"What the hell!" she screeches to no one in general. She dusts her self off and notices its me. "God! Not cool bro!" I just grin at her and get off the ground, wiping the dirt of my jeans. She gives me the death glare for my efforts.

"You hurt my feelings..." I say with puppy dog eyes, knowing it will cheer her up. "Pleeeease apologize." She giggles and rolls her eyes.

"Sorry, Nate. Now you apologize."

"God maybe I don't wanna!" I say doing my best impression of a tween girl.

"Fine whatever." She says just before the bell rings. Saved by the bell? Not really. Let's see. First period, Athletics. It's like AP gym. I'm in it with all the jocks and chicks who won't talk to me. I run to the locker rooms swiftly pulling on my gym clothes, not bothering to attempt a conversation. When I get to the track I notice the queen of all chicks staring directly at me. Alaina. Damn, I wish I could tap that. She looks away, and mumbles something to herself. Somehow I feel, I dunno, connected to her even with the few times we've talked. To bad she's the all star bitch with her all star body. I glance away and the coach tells us to get in the sprint lines and I know this will be a long hour.

*******************

My sweat is covering me from head to toe half an hour ago. And now coach says its okay for showers and water. This time I really am saved by the bell. I walk my aching body into the showers and re-gel my hair. My clothes were tough to get on because I was still damp from the showers. I jog to my locker and get ready for the day. Today was going to be interesting.
