It was the year 1963 in the month of June. A young couple seniors. Attending Lompoc High School. It was senior ditch day so the couple went to go sunbathing on a beach near Gaviota State Park. They didn't come home for 3 days at the most. The father of the young girl went to the beach and was frightened to find there bodies lying next to each other by the water. Tied with rope on their feet and hands. They tried to escape this man. But the man had been shot 11 times. The woman 9 times she was shot. The police had claimed that he had tried to start a fire in the nearby shack the zodiac killer had left them in to die.
