"It's Just A Last Name" (Lena Luthor/You)

Chapter 4

~Your P.O.V~
As weeks passed on and I spent more and more time with Lena word was going around about us, I've been in the media quite a lot. People put pictures of me in their tabloids questioning if something was goin on between Lena and I, but quite frankly we were nothing but friends. Being friends with her felt amazing but times in her office my breath would hitch at how close we were in proximity. I've  became attracted to the way she would geek out about her work or something science related or sometimes a new episode of a show she was into. I was really getting to know her, she wasn't as tough as she seemed. We told each other secrets, yet I haven't disclosed my biggest one. I will tell her soon I'm sure it won't be a big deal. My mind was running through thoughts as i was snapped out of my thoughts when Eve came in, "Lena's here". I was shocked but ultimately it was a good surprise. I fixed my suit and waited for her to enter. Who am I kidding she might just be here to see Kara. Then I hear her voice boom, snapping me out of my thoughts again.
" How's my mystery girl?" My face flushed but I got up to greet her.
" pretty good now that you are here," I flirted casually as I pulled her in a hug and kissed her cheek.
She pushed me away playfully and smiled at me.
" I originally came for Kara but I can't seem to find her," Lena said with a shrug.
" but there's something I want to talk to you about... Eve," Lena said.
" what about my assistant," I asked Lena siting down on the sofas in my office.
"She's brilliant, I want her help on this project. I want her apart of the LCorp team," Lena said.
" Lena, we all know you own CatCo, you can literally take Eve," I said loosing myself in her green eyes.
" yeah but she's your assistant so I wanted to ask you," Lena said.
" well yes! Eve is all yours test her mind, she just has to find me a new assistant," I said smiling. Lena and I almost in sync called for Eve. Eve came to the door I approached her and hugged her, " Eve Ms.Luthor wants to work with you. All you have to do Is find me a new assistant and you can work at LCorp,"I told her bringing her over to Lena.
" oh my it would be a honor to work with you," Eve said smiling shaking Lena's hand. Eve then exit and began calling people. I smiled at Lena as we talked for a while. Honestly our conversations could go on and on.

Kara Walked in with a paper in her hand as realization hit her , she had something with Lena. Kara face palmed herself as she  apologized instantly over and over again.   Lena laugh and told Kara it was okay. Kara handed me a paper with another exclusive with Supergirl. I loved how she got the scoop on her,  I smiled at Kara and thanked her.  I grabbed my phone and went through my notifications as Lena and Kara talked.  They were rudely interrupted by Mr.Olsen.
" Hey Lena and Kara," he said I got off he sofa and pulled my jacket down.
"Mr.Olsen , what do you need?" I asked, giving him the eyebrow.
" Other then a date with Lena, I have something for you to publish," He said with a smug smile on his face. I grabbed his paper and did a quick read," Mr.Olsen we all know you are Gaurdian. I'm sorry though we are focusing on Supergirl. We need a hero not a side kick I'm sorry," I said handing him his paper. He stared at me mouth agape as shock was clear on his face.
"Anything else?" I asked he closed his mouth and turned to Lena.
" We should go on a date some time,"He said smiling at her, my fist clenched as my face crinkled. Lena got up and hugged Kara and came over to me, she kissed my cheek and walked off , my hands softened a bit but clenched again. Due to Olsen following after her.
" I think they would be good but at the same time he always thought she was bad and accused her because she's lex Sister. " Kara said shrugging her shoulders.
" I'll talk to you later y/n , " Kara said getting up and hugging me.
" how about I take you home?" I asked but more of told Kara. She nodded her head to my words.

Time at work always seemed to run faster then I would assume so, I always got lost in the piles of work, but at the same time I loved working and running things. I was scribbling a note for tomorrow to go over what I needed to talk to the employees at the meeting. I headed a knock on the door causing me to look up and stop mid way of my last thought.
As my eyes met her blues I knew it was time for me to close shop, " that time already?" I asked Kara. She nodded her head at me and she looked beat up bout something.
" mind telling me what's wrong? " I asked as I stacked my papers together and put the incomplete note at the top. It was silent for a minute but I figured she was deciding whether or not to tell me. I sat down on the couch leg crossed over another as she got the clue and sat down beside Me.
" tell me what's wrong Kara," I asked genuinely. She nodded to herself as she began to speak.
" Do you think it's okay to lie to your friends, if its to protect them ultimately?" See this question wasn't one with a simple answer and I didn't quite know what to say myself. I took off my glasses that I wear sometimes and pinched the bridge of my nose and looked directly at Kara.
" well honestly I don't think there is a right answer, but I think everyone has their secrets.  Sometimes it's best to wait till the right moment but honestly being honest with you friend shows you trust them," I said rubbing the back of my neck. Kara nodded her head at my words, still very confused.
" let's get some potstickers," she instantly perked up and got up, I got up and headed with her to the Car.

While eating Potstickers Kara and o talked she was honest really nice to speak to. She told me how Carr was still tough but he was warming up to her. Kara was an amazing reporter she could honestly write. I noticed that Kara has a big appetite as do I, but ofc we know that. Kara was eating potstickers after potstickers. Honstely they were amazing everyone kept looking at us funny cuz of the moans of enjoyment comming from us. Not gunna lie both Kara And I cheeks flushed pink when we realized. I didn't mind it though, she gave me a good vibe being around her. The vibe turned almost as if it was a warning because in came a group of guys.  They held guns as the told everyone that this was a robbery to hold out their purses and wallets. I didn't know what went through me but I had to help  I turned to my side and Kara was gone hopefully she's safe. I ran to the bathroom and took off my glasses and took my button up off as quick as flicker of light. Then I burned holes in my tie to wrap around my eyes, flying out and into the crowd of people. As I flipped one man over back against a table I felt a gush of wind and it was no other than Supergirl. She looked over at me and nodded as we took out the remainder of the guys. I look down seeing  part of my white T-Shirt ripped exposing my skin, causing my cheeks to flush red.  I looked over to supergirl as realization hit me that -that that's Kara! As the cops came in , I approached supergirl. 
"Kara?" I whispered.
"Y/n!" She said recognizing my voice.  My eyes widened as the cops shook our hand as Kara and I flew out of the  area not without leaving money for our tab.  Kara and I were in a empty alley as I took off my tie from around my eyes.
Kara asked me,"how and what?"
" I just knew. And well I'm Kryptonian" I said looking down.
"Wait so so were related?" She asked. I nodded my head.
"Distant cousins" I spoke to her.  She hugged me and instantly ask me to join her in fighting crime. I never thought about it honestly it was never the lifestyle for me.
" I uh I don't know Kara, I just hate lying to people about my identity," I said rubbing my neck.
"Think about it I have to change," Kara said flying off.  I flew off getting my Car and driving off to the closes friend I have. Lena Luthor.  I got to her office pretty quickly, her assistant leading me in to the office. Lena saw me and rushed over to me, "are you okay?" She asked looking at my ripped shirt. I nodded.
" I have to tell you something, I'm im Kryptonian," I said looking down.
" you're su-" I curt her off before she got to finish, " no but today I saved some people, now I have to hide my identity and I don't know what to do"
At this moment I was pacing back and forth trying to calm myself. Lena grabbed my shoulder and brought me down on the sofa.
"Thank you for telling me. I can help you, I'll build you a bad ass suit," she said bring me in and holding me. Her arms were very comforting.
"Please ," I said snuggling closer into her chest as she held me closer.
