This was it. Step one.

Work usually always came first, but all work for tonight was done. Tonight, Paige was first and she was the only thing on my mind. Everyone invited was going to this party to celebrate her huge comeback to WWE--- Me, on the other hand, I was going to do the same, but most importantly, I was going to finally get my chance to see about her and actually talk to her.

We were finally outside of work, at the same place, at the same time, and hopefully, there would be no distractions or interruptions. No members of crew, no photoshoots, interviews, or calls to get to the gorilla position in just seconds! This was finally an opportunity for me--- Not just for me, but for Paige as well. From what Dean and Roman had told me, she had been actually trying to come see me as well... but never got the chance. Well, tonight was our chance. Our one shot to finally complete step one. It was go time--- Well in this case, party time!

Dean, Roman, and I walked into the already packed bar. People were dancing all over the floor, some were drinking over by the counter, and others were just trying to get a picture to post on their Instagram later. I shook my head at all of the craziness going on inside of the bar--- which was more like a club, to be honest. I wasn't very big on club parties at all, but as I remembered from years ago, Paige was. She always loved wild parties and hanging out all night with friends. She knew I wasn't into it all all, but she never hesitated to drag me along with her sometimes. It wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but as best friends, I didn't mind going with her.

As I looked out at the people on the dance floor, a small smile crept onto my face as I thought about the times where she used to beg me to dance with her.

"What?! No way!"

"Aw, come on, Seth! Let's just dance! It'll be fun!"

"You know I'm not a dancer! I'll look like a freakin' idiot out there.."

"I'll look like a freakin' idiot right along with you--- Now shut up and dance with me!"

I chuckled to myself at the memory of us dancing together. Yeah, we looked like complete idiots out there, but we did have fun together. Like we used to.

"Seth, Roman, Dean! Over here!" We all turned our attention over to Natalya when we heard her call out our names. We made our way through the packed crowd and over towards a VIP section where everyone in the WWE family was. Mandy, Sonya, Foxy, Nia, Alexa, Renee, Sasha, Bayley, Sheamus, Cesaro, Dana, Titus, even some SmackDown Live Superstars had gotten word of the party, such as the Usos, Naomi, Becky, Charlotte, Lana, Cathy and a few more people from both rosters came out to celebrate Paige's return. Or just came out for the food and booze like Dean did. As soon as he greeted everyone, he left the section and headed straight for the bar.

"I heard this whole thing was your idea, Nattie." I decided to start conversation to try and loosen up a bit. "Oh yes, this was all me! Of course, you know I would have done a few things differently but---" "Um--- AHEM! This was all MY idea! Natalya here wanted to throw Paige a party at her freakin' house." Foxy chimed in, correcting the statement. "Seriously? Another house party? Didn't firefighters show up at the last party you had?" Roman asked Nattie with an eyebrow risen as a few of us bursted out in laughter. "Pfft! No! I still think Titus called them just in case there was a fire, AND THERE WASN'T!" "You should be thanking me instead of blaming me! What if there was gon' be a fire?! At least they would be there already to put the fire out!" Titus defended himself. "But there wasn't a fire at all!" "THANK GOD!" They laughed again as I just looked around the section. Paige was nowhere in sight... If this was her party, where could she possibly be?

"So, uh--- we all here for Paige tonight. Where the hell she at?" Jimmy Uso spoke up, asking the exact question I had on my mind. "Oh, she's off with her friends somewhere around here." Foxy answered him. "What? Her friends too good to hang with us or nah?" Jey asked with a confused look on his face as Foxy just shrugged her shoulders. "No, it's not like that y'all. It's just two different crowds, you know." Naomi said, getting a look of confused expressions thrown at her. "Trin, I think you need to explain..." Jimmy whispered to her and she sighed. "Okay, look--- Those are Paige's friends outside of work. We're all her friends, in which she works with. Coworkers, but some of us are like family. We all know each other, they don't know us. So, she's hanging with them so they won't feel outta' place. So, that leaves us with each other. We're all here for her, she's having fun, so let her do her thing--- That doesn't mean we all still can't have a good time together."
