Dear me, myself

Chapter 1 The Birthday Wish

The great hall of luxurious flowers are placed on the gold marble table. House surrounded by white rainfall of soft cold fairy powder, the whole town is covered by snow. It's nearly end of cold June, where all the good wishes starts.

Happy birthday Miss Cody!", The great servant Heromi shouted.

"You've received a lots of present again this year, you sure are happy Miss!"

"Ugh, you talk to much just burn them all!" Arrogant Miss Cody rolled her eyes.

"Are you mad at Mr and Mrs Cordina? They have very important meeting tonight, so they can't stay with you Miss." Heromi walk close towards Cody.

"They are always busy as usual I don't really mind. I like being alone, and please don't act like you care about me Mr, you are nothing but a servant who works in my house for money." Cody slowly raised her head forwards to Heromi.

The other servants in the house quickly disappeared in a silence, and acted as nothing has happened. Heromi left the place, and she set on the small sofa near the fireplace.

"Huh."

She rubbed both hand up and down, and blow hot steam out of her mouth. She sigh the clear fog out of her mouth, and breathe back in the hot, burnt scent of wood in and out, as if she was trying to hide from the cold dwell wind.

"Miss Cody, here is the birthday card from Mrs Cordina." the maid handed a card and the present to her.

Cody replied. "Leave in on the table"

After maid walked away, she unpacked the pink, rich wrapping paper, and riped it with no hesitation. She quickly opened the small box and saw a gold music box. It was covered in 24k gold, (lol) and precious silver broaches. She hold onto the handle, and slowly turned to her right as the music started.

"Wow.." Cody gasp.

She was lost in the beautiful melody, it was the song that her mother use to sing for her when she was little. The white unknown water came down her white pale face. She was lost in the music for a minute or two. Then she re-wrapped the music box, and placed it on the table.

The hall was still busy with preparing Cody's 13th birthday party. It was loud, and glamorous. It was fancy, and loyal, but some how the hall looked empty. She looked at the clock...

"Oh, no party starts at 6 pm what was I doing? Ughh! Where are the maids? who are going to help me with hair, and dress?" She opened the ginormous door wide with loud bang.

Then suddenly all the maid came into the room, and brought out the dress for the party. They help her get dressed, and brushed out her long brown hair. The dress was flower pattern, with many roses covered  the entire dress. Her bright green eyes were like shiny star from the sky. The long curly hair was in high ponytail. It made her look more taller, and arrogant. She looks cold, but she is couldn't compared with any other girls. Her beauty was more than anything she had.

She walk down the stairs, and it was 5:45 pm. Just in time, people start coming into house with the invitation, and placed the present on the big crystal table. Her relatives, family friends, novel families, and others came to celebrate Cody's 13th birthday.

"Emily!" Cody shouted across the room.

"Cody! I missed you so much, you are always busy you don't even have a time to play with me, and why don't you come to school? You always...."

Cody quickly blocked Emily's mouth "Shut up, you always talk too much, and I hate going to school."

"Ugh what ever", Emily response in funny tone.

Ding-dong the loud echoing sound of the clock fulled the ballroom. It hit 6 o'clock. Cody stood in the middle of the hall, and raised her voice.

"Ahem, dear friends, families, and all novels, thanks for coming to my 13th birthday party, I've never thought of this many people would come, and celebrate for me. My parents aren't here with us today, due to some typical reason with company. I'm very sorry, If you have any questions, please come to me, I would love to answer you back with no regrets."

Everyone clapped  and shown respect to her, after the warm greeting she quickly left the spotlight, and grabbed handful of cake, fruits, and ice-cream for Emily who is waiting for her in Cody's room.

Emily started to  look around for the valuable stuff in Cody's room, and she found the shiny rich music box. She quickly hide underneath her puffy dress.
"Ohhh, fancy" Emily whispered.

Then Cody walked in the room. "What were you doing? Anyways I got some deserts for you"

"I'm alright, thanks but I really need to go to toilet," Emily quickly ran off the room, and burst to the loo.

Emily ran dashing the people infant of her, and finally arrive at the loo. She quickly hide the music box behind the cupboard. Then she ran off the spot, and made uncomfortable face. She felt guilty but relief in the same time. She put on the fake smile, and joined in with the crowds.
Cody went for a walk outside to look for Emily, then she found Emily calling her dad. She over heard the conversation with Emily and her dad.

"Dad where are you?" Emily whispered

"Emily where are you? The party is going to end soon, come back in." Her dad was mad.

"Ugh, I hate Cody so much, she is nothing but big bull going crazy. Dad when is your company with Codina gonna finish? Why do I have to pretend to be her friend?" Emily shouted

"Shhhh, you are talking too loud, are you around the safe place? Stop mumbling about it. Aren't you good friend with her after all?" Dad asked in calm voice.

"She is just rich, bitch old style goose, she pretends that she has everything and talk as she is so COOL" Emily rolled her eyes.

"Keep a eye on her and you need to fine out secrets of the Codina, do you understand me?"

"Okay dad.." Emily walked off the spot once again.
