It was a cold, dreary day in Moscow.
Inside Sambo 70, Alina was working on her Quad Flip, Sasha her Octotuple Lutz-Axel variation, Alena her Quintuple Axel and Anna her Sextuple Flip.
Alina was struggling with her Quad. She fell on it 1/2058th of 4 rotations short.
"FIX THE AIR POSITION" Eteri Screams. One of her circuits zapped.
Alina tries it again, this time landing it, with only 450° prerotation!
"Satisfactory. You are granted an extra calorie for your weekly meal."
On the other side of the rink, Sasha falls on her Sextuple Lutz, a jump that is usually easy for her. However, the previous day, she fractured one of her metatarsals, meaning she has a fracture in every single bone from her hips down.
"Eteri, I think I need a break. I cannot stand. My bones are dust. I have not left the rink in 18 days. I have not slept in 2 days. I have not drank anything in 12 days."
"You pathetic rat. How will you ever top your world record score of 302.92? How will you ever land the Octotuple Axel?" Eteri's circuits start malfuctioning and strange sounds erupt from her interior.
Daniil had just started choreographing Alina's free skate for the next season, they wanted an early start to the season so Alina could heal one of her 96 bone fractures. By saying choreographing Daniil means stealing every known dancer to man kind.
That's when Eteri started to snap.
Alina was turning 18, and the robot did not understand how to handle it. She could not imagine a skater over the age of 17, she had erased all memories of Evgenia after she left and the media attacked her. Eteri knew she had to elimimate Alina, using any method she could.
