"So what's the freaking plan?"

Boboiboy thought as hard as he could. The room (aka, Ejo Jo's trap) had no windows so they can't go or signal from the outside. They might at least clog the water from flowing, but there were exactly seven large holes flooding the whole room and both of them can't cover all of it together.

So they're only hope would be...

"Up there," Boboiboy thought aloud.

Fang looked up and clapped his hands. "Right, the large air vent! If we let the water flood the 3/4 of the room's volume, we can reach that vent and crack it open. Then we're free to escape."

"Correct," Boboiboy nodded as the water quickly rised up at the level of his shoulders. "But Ejo Jo must've expected that plan."

"What do you mean?"

His friend pointed the air vent. "That vent is so rusty and old, yet it has new silver screws holding it tightly. I bet that PETAI-lover screwed those himself."

Fang tried to chuckle but ended up gulping and choking a lot of chlorine. The water level was beyond the boys' height so they tried to stay afloat by paddling like a dog.

"Oh, and Fang, take this."

He gave the large bottle to Fang again, which was now empty.

Fang was confused. "But I don't—"

"In case the water floods the entire room and we haven't escaped yet, I need you to breathe in this," Boboiboy explained. "So that you will still have more oxygen and strength to break the air vent."

But his purple friend was still confuse. "But what about you? How will you breathe under water?"

"Don't worry. I'll change myself into Boboiboy Water," he lied reassuringly.

Fang nodded in reply, then took the bottle and bit on its mouthpiece like a baby's milk bottle.

"Let's swim now," Boboiboy said. "We can already reach the ceiling."

And together they quickly swam towards the air vent. It was indeed true that the vent was bolted tightly. So when they tried to pull the grate out, it didn't open. They tried and tried but still the strength of two boys  wasn't enough.

Boboiboy glanced back at his power watch. Only 10 minutes left until it stops rebooting. He just hoped the water will go mercy on him and slows down until the countdown ends.

Unfortunately time wasn't on his side right now. The water continued to rapidly rise up and also limit the movements of the two struggling preys. In less than three minutes, there will be no more oxygen to breathe in.

"Fang," Boboiboy called. "Stop what you are doing and take a deep breath." And Fang did.

Yes. As long as my friends are safe, I can rest in peace quietly, Boboiboy thought with a sad smile. Damn, I wished I had that time manipulation power to stop this water.

Time quickly passed by and, because of the overflowing water, the boys' faces were now held up to the ceiling.

"Time to dive," Boboiboy signaled. "In three..."

I hope my oxygen lasts.

"Two.."

No, it will last.

"One!" And both of them submerged just as the flood swallowed the whole room.

They continued to pull the grate with all their might, but it was a lot harder when they were in the water. Due to the ongoing water currents, many things flew in circles and also past by  them: a chair, table, plastic wrappers, a Boboiboy Movie poster, an eyeless rodent, another no-tail rodent, and other things that were hidden in the dust. Occasionally these things would bump them, but Boboiboy and Fang still focused on getting out. Time was short and, with the limited oxygen, they surely won't last forever.
