『Eren's POV』
The next day, after the awful heartbreaking day, I had skipped school. I couldn't bring myself to go the dreadful place I call hell. I didn't feel like seeing anyone, and I wasn't in the mood to learn. So, I stayed home and watched boring TV shows and ate junk food, and even almost cried a few times after thinking about what happened yesterday.
Yeah, yeah, call me a pussy. I already know I am. But, what happened yesterday hurt. I can't take back what happened, even if I wanted to. What happened, happened, and it's not going to change. Levi and I will never be a thing. The one person I actually developed true feelings for, will never be mine.
Do you understand just how painful that thought is? Knowing someone you truly have real feelings, will never be yours? It fucking hurts, bad. And that thought alone, just makes my eyes water once again.
I've never been that tough guy. I'm a sensitive person. I can't help that, it's who I am. I get hurt, and I get sad easily. I can't be like Levi, and hide my emotions, and be strong. Trust me, I've tried, and it doesn't work. At times, I'd like to be like him, and not feel anything at all. It would make life 100% easier, and I wouldn't be sitting around crying all day, like an idiot chicken shit I am.
Why can't life be easy, and we could just get the people we want and like? Why do we have to go through so much fucking shit, just because of you like a certain somebody? Why do we have to hurt so much? It would be easier if it wasn't painful.
But of course, life is painful. It was meant to be painful. This is how it's supposed to be, and that's how it is. Sometimes, knowing that, makes me want to leave this world. I wouldn't have to deal with anything of the sort like this, ever again. I would not ever feel guilty again, for snapping at someone, or stabbing someone behind their back. I would not ever be sad. I would be, nothing. I would not be able to feel.
But then, after thinking all about those thoughts, it makes me want to slap myself in the face. If I were to ever do something so fucking stupid like that, I would be hurting others. Sure, I wouldn't be feeling anything, but I would cause others to hurt. I do not even want to think of something like that. I don't want to hurt other people. I want to make people happy. I don't like hurting people, I like seeing people smile. Seeing someone smile, and be happy because of you, is one of the greatest feelings of all. And I can't describe how amazing that feeling is. Knowing if I ever did leave this world on purpose, and to make people sad because of such a dumb choice I made, I just couldn't do it.
I need people to be happy.
And that is why I am sad, because I couldn't make Levi happy. I couldn't make him happy enough to even want to be friend. I want to make him happy, even though it may be impossible. I want to try. I need to try.
But how?
How do I make Levi Ackerman truly happy?
『Levi's POV』
I was at home, enjoying a nice cup of hot tea, with a side of a biscuit. It was a beautiful fall morning, and I was actually enjoying this morning.
I had decided to skip out on school, and just enjoy a day home alone and relax. Lately, I've been in need of relaxing, according to Hanji.
I don't know what the deal is, with that pair of shitty glasses. She says we're best of friends, when I clearly don't even treat her like a friend. She buys me new cleaning supplies every week, so I guess I should be nice to her every now and then.
And then, my cell phone started to ring from my back black pants pocket. I glared at nothing in front of me, and dropped my biscuit on the saucer, and quietly cursed at the loud, annoying noises coming from the annoying cellular device.
