Three years after rejecting her mate, and being with Liam. Things have finally settled down for Astrid. Liam, and Astrid have never been open about their relationship with the kingdom. The Royal pack knows of the relationship. They all approve, and think it works well. The Blackwood children were adopted by Astrid. They loved her, and she loved them. They began calling her mom, although they refused to call Liam dad, but called him Uncle Liam, which was fine with everyone.

"Okay, I need your help my Queen, or you will have to put me on trial!" Mary stormed into the kitchen. "Children, go play in the garden. Breakfast is over. Mom and Grandma need to talk." The children scurried away, seeing their grandma fuming. "What is wrong?" Mary growled menacingly. Astrid cocked an eyebrow. "She is pregnant! She is mucking, ducking, trucking pregnant! I heard your mother, he is barren, it's not his so the little two faced bitch is a cheater too!!!!" Mary was on the verge of shifting. "She has everyone terrified of her, except my idiotic son, and now she has taken over. He is her lap dog, and she is running the pack. We have an army! We were peaceful, loving. Now we have freaking brand new shifters ready to fight on the front line. She has those who haven't shifted learning to fight in human form. Now, she is pregnant with goddes only know whose baby!" Mary growls. "Calm yourself!" Astrid commands. "This bitch daughter in law of yours, never marked my mate. Tell them I want to personally congratulate them on their heir." Astrid smirks. She gave him up to have a family, not some bimbo who thinks she can ruin his pack, and cheat. "Babe, you sure you are okay with him coming here? You haven't seen him in three years." Liam asked wrapping his arms around Astrid's waist. He set his head on her shoulder. She sighed. "I gave him up, so he could have a life. This bitch is ruining that, I have to fix it." Liam nodded. "Guess I'll be finding a new partner then. But um, fair warning everything else won't stop." He pecked her cheek. She laughed. "I'm breaking him up with his crazy Luna, not taking him back!" Astrid exclaimed laughing. Liam looked at her like she grew two heads. "Sweetheart, you have the mate bond still, Lucy will want him. I won't satisfy her, and he will. I've always known this was temporary." He said softly, and kissed her forehead. "No! We will not ruin him." Lucy and Astrid growled out. "Lucy, calm down. He is your mate. It's okay. You aren't hurting me. You belong with him, I never wanted this for you." Liam spoke softly, taking her head in his hands. "What did I do to deserve you as my best friend?" Astrid sighs. "Have the worst luck possible, just so you would think you got something good." He joked winking. "Hey!" She lightly smacked his chest. "Besides I already have a maid in mind to fill my bed once your gone." He winked. "Oh really?" Astrid cocks an eyebrow. "Yep, she had a girl mate, so she swings both ways. The girl rejected her." Liam takes a sip of coffee. "Mmm well invite her tonight, and we can have some real fun." Astrid purrs. Liam chokes on his coffee. Astrid walked sultrily out of the kitchen.

"Were you joking or serious?" Liam mind links Astrid

"Invite her and find out, big boy. Ever had two girls?" Astrid purrs back

"You know I haven't. Besides, she isn't real."  Liam growls. Astrid laughs back.

"I can't believe I'm going to be a Daddy!" Sampson exclaims. "I can't believe I'm going to get fat!" Demeter cries out. "Baby, you won't get fat. You are pregnant, and a werewolf. You will still be just as beautiful." He wraps his arms around her.

"Sampson!" Mary snaps. "Demeter" she sneers. "Mom! What are you doing here?" Sampson is beyond ecstatic for his mother being back home. "The Queen has requested both of your presence at the castle, in order to congratulate you." Mary says with a look of disgust towards Demeter. "That trip is too far for Demmy to travel in her condition. I'll call the castle, and see what we can come up with." Sampson sighs. "Let's have her here! She is more than welcome. Demeter can finally challenge the Queen. Screw the baby, its half human anyway, just a weakling. She wanted to be pregnant with Sampsons, but for three years couldn't get pregnant. One slip up with a human, and she is knocked up. "That's an excellent idea! That is why I love you, and you are such a good Luna." Sampson almost coos. Making Mary and Demeter gag.

"The Queen will be here in a week. She will have her Beta, and 5 guards. Her standard travel entourage." Sampson exclaims. Demeter begins to prepare her plan. She has her loyal followers in the pack, who hate turned wolves, and rogues. Demeter wants to overthrow the Queen, and kill all those who oppose her.
