It was evening when Jax was in the pool, he was swimming by himself as he watched the brown and white bulldog play with his toy.
"Dom! Bring it here boy" Jax called to the dog, Dom ran to his owner and dropped the toy in front of him, Jax picked it up and  threw it, only for Dom to sprint to the toy and bring it back. They did this a couple of times until Jax was tired of throwing the toy.

Jax got out of the pool and dried off, he walked up the sandstone steps and opend the glass sliding door, letting Dom inside as well.
"You came just in time, dinner is ready" Jax's mother said
"Yeah, uh, what are we having" Jax asked
"A roast" His mother simply relpied,
"Go get Gary for me, will yah" Jax nodded at the request and made his way upstairs to his stepdad's office.

Before Jax entered Gary's office he heard his ringtone, freaks by Roberto Zanetti and Timmy Trumpet play, he walked in to his bedroom and searched for his phone. He looked on the gray bed, under his jacket then under the bed before looking at the massive blue desk. He picked up the phone with paper plaines on it and swiped right to answer the call
"Hello?"
"Hey man, what's up?" Jax's friend asked
"Hey Lucas, not much, you?"
"Fortnight, duh" Lucas chuckled over the phone, Jax shook his head at his friend childish behaviour
"Did you get the assessment done for school" Lucas asked
"No. You?"
"Nah, it's stupid anyway" Lucas laughed. It goes quite for a minute and Jax soon relies why as be hears Lucas's twin brother yelling at him
"What you want anyway?" Jax asked
"Wanna play with me and my little bro" Lucas said in a teasingly way
"5 minutes apart, fuck head" muffled a voice
"Shut up Richard" Lucas yelled at his twin brother, Jax laughed and hung up without saying goodbye and walked out of his bedroom and to the office.

Jax nocked on the door
"Come in" yelled Gary
"Mum said dinner is ready" Jax told his stepdad, Gary nodded and got off the chair. The stepfather and stepson walked down staires and entered the dinning room
"Thanks Jannis for dinner" Gary kissed Jax's mother on the cheeck, she giggled slightly and served dinner to her favourite boys. It was quite for a couple of minutes
"So Jax, any girls you like?" Gary started the conversation, Jax nearly chocked on his apple juice, while his mum just laughed
"No, no girls Gary" Jax chuckled
"Fine, fine. Any boys then?" Now this made Jax chocke on his food, while the two adults laugh. Jax took a couple of gulps of his drink and shook his head.
"Sorry Gary, no boys either" Jax laughed along with his parents
"How, just look at you, you are a very attractive young man" Jax's mum said, joining in the fun. She was right, Jax has beautiful tan skin, dark chocolate brown eyes, tall, fit and an interesting accent, Latin- Australian.
"Well it's pride month, so maybe you can go to the pride parade and might find someone" Gary winked at him
"Just because I'm bi or attractive doesn't mean no-one will be into me, plus I'm 16!" Jax said "And my mate's don't know yet" he sighed
"Some day son, some day" His mother said.

Jax shook his head for the tenth time today and looked out at the window and saw the famiky next door arrive home and carrying take out.
Some day, he thought.
