Angelina's POV
6am

I turn over to my nightstand and turn off my alarm and check my notifications and see a missed call from mom, I sigh I'll call back later....

I get out of bed and head into my bathroom to take a shower. I get out, then brush my teeth head back into my room to get dressed.

I let my hair in its natural state and head downstairs to get some breakfast.

After breakfast I grab my phone and text the group chat to see if anyone needed a ride. And as of now I am picking up the Twins and Larri. Time to head out.

I hop in my car and drive to the boys house, once I arrive and get out the car I unlock the door letting myself inside the house.

"Ethan Gray let's go" I yell and walk into the kitchen to get some raspberries to eat. I have to raid their fridge to find it but eh they love me.

"Wow a raccoon in her natural habitat" Ethan says in an Australian accent.

I freeze and slowly turn around

"Best looking raccoon you have ever seen" I reply. He chuckles and shakes his head "Where's your brother" I ask with raspberries filling my mouth.

"Trying to look good for you" he teases his brother who just happened to come down the same time Ethan made the joke

"You talk an awful lot" Gray spits

"Attitudeeeeeeee" I drag while laughing Gray walks over to me and hugs me. I take this moment to take in his scent. I hug back but making the hug last a little longer before we go.

"Excuse me rats by the looks of our group chat we have another person to go pick up so can we go before you two fuck each other right here in the kitchen" Ethan speaks interrupting "our moment" I guess you could say. I just give him a playful death stare and head outside to my car.

"Off to Larri's" I say backing out the twins driveway and speeding off to Larri's house.

We arrive at Larri's place and I shoot him a quick text to let him know we're here. Not even a minute later Larri comes outside with a smile on his face as he walks to my car and opens the back door to be greeted by Eth.

"Hey bitches" He speaks cheekily

"Hey Larri" Me and the boys say in unison. I pull out of Larri's driveway and head off to school.

Once we park in my usual spot in the schools parking lot we all get out of my car and go inside to each others lockers, and wait for Camila.

We all say our Hello's and wait for the first bell to ring signalling to go to first period. but luckily we all have the first few periods together so there is no need to go our separate ways we all kind of begged the principal for similar schedule's.

Everyone is in their own conversation while I'm lost in my thoughts thinking about the missed call from my mom.

Me and my mom aren't close at all.

I mean we were.

that was before my dad passed away.

After his death my mom started drinking and doing drugs like cocaine all that illegal shit. and never being home. I remember this one particular night she came home drunk and drugged up. she looked a mess and everything she said or did was sloppy.

•Flashback•

"Angelina Marie Underwood come here right now" She spat.

"Y-yes mom" I struggle to get out

"Don't call me mom anymore" she slurred.

"O-okay" I stutter out she walks into the kitchen to get her purse. She pulls out a piece of paper and walks back over to me and hands it to me and simply says

"Here is your stupid bank account information it's all you need to keep you stable for almost the rest of your life." She spoke coldly

"He loved you so much I don't know why" she pauses for a moment

"Anyway..Your a smart girl I trust you do the right thing" she speaks as a tear slips out of her weary eyes. at this point my eyes are producing a river right in front of my feet.

"But mom where will you be huh where will you go... You can't just leave me here I'm only 15 I've barely just started driving how am I supposed to live without you. This isn't right mom please.." I violently sob now and all she does is walk to the door and turn to look at me in the eyes.

"Mom no" I speak barely above a whisper

"You've got this" she says

Then walks right out the door. No I love you. No telling me whether she'll come back or not.

She just left me. Only God knew what was on her mind.

•End of flashback•

"Angie....Angie can you hear me" I hear. Then I snap back into reality and see my vision is blurry, so I blink and a tear falls.

I was crying clearly.

"I-I gotta go" I say barely as I go to walk away I feel a pair of arms wrap around me. as I silently sob into whoever's shirt it was and start to slowly relax and ease my mind. I look up to be faced with Hazel eyes staring down into my puffy red light brown eyes.

It was Grayson.
