Crybaby

Ana felt herself smash against the locker, her eyes frantic with worry, a trickle of scarlet blood blurring her vision. 

"Stop, Ryland, you're going to hurt her!" a beautiful girl said.

"Don't tell me you feel sorry for her, Juliette!" he said rolling his eyes, "Shut up before I do the same to you!" Juliette retreated, giving Ana a sympathetic glance. Ana slumped to the floor, groaning, tears welling up in her eyes. 

"Crybaby!" he laughed, spit flying into Ana's face, "Say it Juliette!" he ordered, violently. 

"C- crybaby," she whispered, giving her another look of sympathy, before turning away, "R- Ryland, I have to go."

He growled, "Okay then, babes, meet me after school." Juliette turned and ran down the corridor. Ryland turned to Ana, a look of furious hatred burning in his eyes, consuming him. He grabbed Ana's arm, pulling her roughly to her feet, grabbing her hair now. "You won't tell, will you!" he spat. Ana shook her head feverishly, 

"P-please s- stop.." she whispered. 

"Does it hurt!?" he shouted, pushing her against the locker. When Ana didn't respond he shouted again, "Does it!?"

"Y- yes," she whispered, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Good!" he chuckled, shoving her into the locker. She heard his footsteps disappear down the corridor, but didn't dare call for help, for fear of him discovering her. So, she allowed the tears to flow freely down her cheeks, as she sobbed alone in the pitch blackness of the locker. 

She hadn't felt herself fall asleep, but she knew that she had woken up, because light was now spewing through the open locker door. She was greeted by the terrifying sight of Ryland's face. 

"Look who hid in my locker!" he shouted, dragging her up by the arm, "It's ickle cwybaby!" he said in a mocking voice. The crowd of watching children laughed.

"Now, out!" he demanded, shoving her away. She took her chance, and ran down the corridor, and out of the door towards the safety to her house..
