Sound asleep in a blissfull serenity

With the earths arms wrapped around me

I sit in this chair full of moss and talk

Butterflys turned to moths

Stones to dust

Poetry is a notion of lust

We carefully chattered over tea

My only hope was slithering around me

Theres a crackle in your eyes

It sparks from your iris

Purple crimson flames with a hint of meloncholy

You looked at me sideways

With those candied crimson eyes

And you told me you loved me

I dropped my spoon suddenly

It landed so carefully

It was faced towards the wall and it

Casted my shadow for everyone to see

But my answer was written in my arms

My whole being was written for you

My veins strive with the thought

My hearts already stolen

So we sat and we talked

And I shared my inner thoughts

But now I sit in this room over tea

And I know that you are in me

And it wasn't until I poured the second cup

That I realized I was alone.
