Emma nervously walks down the hallway as she approaches her first period of sophomore year. She looks around in disbelief that she made it to the prestige exclusive private school of Kingman. Her family could only dream of affording this school, with their dad and mom both jobless they have been financially struggling for a while, but with emma's hard work she saved up enough to last her 2 years until she graduates.
As she walks in her first period, the first thing she does is crash into a boy. Great. She looks up apologizing, but is stunned by his good looks and amazing smell. He helps her up and brushes off the dust from her hair. He smiles "What's your name?" Emma replies
"E-Emma, Hi"
"Hi emma, I'm ethan, come sit with me" she follows him to his seat. They get to know each other better as class goes on and they talk more and emma seems to really fall for him. She really can't believe that she made it to the best school and maybe met the best boy. She was shocked but grateful. Ethan had mutual feelings for her and thought she was so cool and hot. Has he found the one.
After the bell rings, James runs up to ethan giving him the death stare.
"What is something wrong james?" Ethan asks. James replies
"why tf were you talking to the new girl, she's from the poorest neighborhood in town and we are from the east side we don't associate with roaches like her" ethan explains how cool she actually is and how judging people based on their money is stupid, James however doesn't care and begs Ethan to not talk to her.
