1. The Opportunity

Kai's pov

I hated that job, working in a boring music shop. Being in retail wasn't fun either, I still can't forget when everything in that room collapsed on me and that weird old lady that stared at me for almost my whole shift before leaving without buying anything. I thought this job would interest me because I loved music but I guessed not... I wanted to start something completely new.

I finished my shift and I walked home with my earphones plugged in and my head down, just like the day before. The days just felt like a repeat at that point. I finally got home and threw my bag on the sofa and went upstairs. I sat at my desk and looked on YouTube for any new videos to watch when one caught my eye. It was an unlisted video from this YouTuber that I watched sometimes called Jacksucksatlife. He was hiring a new editor?! This is a massive opportunity and I can get away from my current job if I get this! I thought to myself. I kind of knew how to edit by doing it on my own videos so I just gave it my best shot and made it as funny as I could without it getting too out of hand. I finished editing the video and sent it to Jack via Email, now to wait...
