11. All I Will Ever Need

Kai's PoV

I woke up and saw on the clock (which was on the table) that it was 5PM. There was  no sign of anyone, not even any nurses walking past my ward. It felt completely abandoned and I was the only person in there. Suddenly, the door opened so forcefully that I breaks off its hinges and Larry with a kitchen knife comes running up to me.

I woke up in a pool of my own sweat screaming. Why did that feel so real?! The nurse was there trying to calm me down but I couldn't, I needed Jack ASAP! "Where's Jack?!" I said to the nurse. "I need him now!" The machine next to me was beeping loudly and very quickly, I didn't care, I needed Jack with me right then. Not in 5 minutes, then. I refused to calm down until Jack came to me. That was before a different nurse than the usual one stuck a needle into me and everything fell black.

Jack's PoV

I got a call from the hospital saying Kai was awake and needed to see me ASAP. I quickly apologised to Wilbur for leaving on such short notice but then Wilbur... said he wanted to see Kai too. I wasn't against that at all, the more the merrier as I always say. I got in my car, Wilbur in the passenger seat, and we started the 2 hour journey to the hospital Kai was at.

Kai's PoV

I woke up once more, no sleep paralysis that time thankfully. As soon as I opened my eyes, all the nurses in my ward raised their heads up to look at me. "I'm sorry, I just need Jack. He is all I need and all I will ever need in my life," I blubber as I start breaking down. One of the nurses pats me on the back, "I understand, I completely do," she said reassuringly. "So what is this Jack person to you then?" She asks with a big smile on her face. "Well... I don't know really," I admitted, "it might not be mutual so I can't really be sure," She lets out a slight laugh. "I was asking about what you think, what do you think about him?" She asks me. I think for a few seconds before answering. "He's my boss but also... I may or might not have a massive crush on him that's been there ever since I started working for him," I told the nurse, kind of worried about how she would react. She had such a nice reaction thankfully! "Oh my god! Really? You know I totally think you two have strong chemistry just from looking at you from afar you can totally tell! You should definitely ask him out soon or at least kiss him I mean come on!" She said, obviously very supportive on the situation. I smiled a little before saying, "You know what, I just might when he gets here to pick me up," and the nurse clapped her hands together and then said "Good luck, eventhough you don't need it, it's obviously gonna go well!"
