Author's answer: uhm... I don't know much because I only have read one manga with anime adaptation which I have watched.
But so far... DISAGREE!
The junji ito collection anime shit is horrible. It's like they only slapped some colors and a few animations and called it a day.
Junji ito mangas are good tho, I recommend even if I had only read about three so far (not including one shots I have read tho)
