My name's Penelope, I'm sixteen years old and I live with my dad and two of my four older brothers (the others are moved to college) in Texas.
My mom died, when I was very young, so I don't remember her.
But from, what I've been told and the pictures, she was a caring, loving, strong mother, who I look very similar too. But she had an alcohol-love that took over her mind and body at last.
Well anyway, life goes on and I'm just a happy kid in high school (who people consider really popular) with a few best friends and -who would've guessed- no boyfriend.
Today is Friday and tonight I'm going to the movies with my best friend Cathrine. She's a bit of a nerd about Star Wars, so that's what we're gonna see. She's not too popular in school and people don't understand why I'm friends with her. The same is with my other three best friends Mia, Ava and Isabelle.
But I'm their friends because we've been forever and there should be no doubt. We have so much fun together. They're considered 'the nerds', since they're respectively really good at science, math and english literature.
But just because other people can't see their beauty and accept them, doesn't mean I'm gonna give them the cold shoulder.

So I think you'll all notice it's gonna be a while in the story until Zach is like a big part of it (he's not gonna be Penelope's lover for a long time). So if that's what you're looking for no need to read this fanfic.
I took a break from writing and posting for about 4 months (march-june 2019), so there's gonna be a bunch of edits in the story, and also I'm not a very fast writer hopefully I'll be able to start posting more again :)
about me: I'm just another fellow limelight, who enjoys writing and reading fanfic. I'm 14 years old and english is not my first language so please don't mind the spelling mistakes and weird terms.
