Introduction

Hi Guys!

First of all: Everything I write is my imagination. I didn't copy any ideas or storylines. If something seems "copied" please tell me, it wasn't my intention.

Besides this is my first book ever, I don't know if someone ever will read it but hope never dies... ha.ha. My English might not be the best.

Introduction

17 years ago:

"Cupcake, darling, come on, you almost did it", he whispers into her ear - smiling at his one true love genuinely. "This is the beginning for our new chapter in our lives".

Not long after he encourages his wife to hold on a little longer, to stay strong, they hold their first born, a girl, for the very first time in their arms. Meara is overwhelmed by her babys' beauty and crys out of sheer happiness. Nothing feels better than holding your child close to you. However, just as a new joyful chapter begins for the new parents, 

Meanwhile Meara and her husband discuss how to name their newborn, an eldery nurse takes her for a quick check-up to the next room.

"Let's weight and measure you, you little futur queen", she smiles kindly down at her and started doing carefully her job.

Suddenly, one of the head doctors and a male nurse burst in.

"Thanks Catelyn, we'll do it from here." He interrupts the lady without much sensitivity and an insufferable arrogant look in his eyes, he strides to the table where the baby lays and sends Catelyn away to prepare some documents for the parents.

"Jan, do ya really think 's her? She doesn't like you've described her...? And, apparently, she's also married..."

"Damn you Christiaan. Of course it's her! I do remember every single detail about her! Now shut your mouth and let me to this!", shouts the doctor. 

"Ya sure ye wanna do 's?". Christiaan asks Jan uncertainly. He has often seen his boss in fury, but he was never so close to the edge to an outburst.

Jan rolls his eyes and growls "Man, can you finally shut up for once?! I waited decades for this single moment! And stop with this ugly slang, it doesn't suit you"

"I am truthfully and utterly sorry, SIR! However what is so special about this woman, respectively her daughter? I do not understand it. The two of them look so lovestruck and innocent. I do not want to ruin someone's life! Especially because of you"

"Oh my dear Christiaan, you have so much to learn..." Jan shook his head and smiles slightly "For now I will tell you this: Before she met HIM, this abomination of a man, she WAS innocent, clever, pure. Without even realizing it she broke so many hearts, destroyed souls and shattered dreams and still doesn't want to recognize her fault and all her mistakes she has done in her past. I want finally my revenge and show her how it felt when she left us and me all on our own."

Jan slowly starts to wash the girl.  

"What will you do with the baby?" Christiaan feels terrified for the newborn. He feels a strange urge to protect her from Jan. It is a strong connection he isn't supposed to feel. This never happens to their kind and it is totally scaring him. Christiaan wantes so badly to protect her form him.

 "Impossible. I've never seen this family before, I've never heard of them before and neither can I have any interactions with them after Jan's speech" Christaan thinks with a sour look on his face.

"Soon you'll see", a sinister grin spreads across Jan's face.
