As the end of the day neared I began to think that maybe I was slightly stupid in drinking that double vodka lemonade. I'd only had the one drink but for some reason it didn't seem to be agreeing with me. Maybe it was because I drank so much last night and my body couldn't handle anymore. I wasn't used to drinking this much,

Obviously I wasn't drunk, but my stomach was starting to feel a little bit queasy as I headed back to my flat.

After we'd played a few games of pool, which I won by the way, and had talked about alk things Jade, Talia decided to head back to her flat for the night saying she wanted to chill a little bit before our lectures again tomorrow, and I'd agreed that I wanted to do the same. We'd arranged to meet for coffee in the SU before our first lecture at 12 tomorrow. Thankfully I would be able to have a lie in.

I'd made it all the way to the entrance of my flat but as I opened the door I felt my stomach clench and as I wrapped one arm around my stomach, I had to lean on the wall to prevent myself from falling over.

I took a few deep breaths before I managed to straighten up. As I stood up straight and began to head towards my room I froze noticing Jace standing just outside the kitchen door. He was holding a glass of juice and a slice of pizza in his hand.

I stood there frozen. Did he just see me crouch over in pain?

He continued to stare at me before a smirk came onto his face and he headed towards me. As he went to walk past me into Ronnie's room he lent down and whispered in my ear.

"You look pale sweetheart. Can't handle your drink?" I closed my eyes in pain as my stomach clenched again. I opened my eyes to see him smirking as he walked past me and headed into Ronnie's room. I took that as my opportunity to run straight into my room and collapse on the bathroom floor.

I felt like I was going to be sick, but I think I just needed to eat something. Maybe I was actually getting sick, it can't have just been that one drink.

I stayed there for a few moments before I took a deep breath and pushed myself off the floor. I splashed my face with water when I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I looked like death; like Jace said, I was extremely pale and there were evident bags under my eyes.

I took a towel and dried my face before heading into the kitchen to grab the sandwiches from the fridge that I'd prepared the night before, deciding it was probably best to eat something solid. I grabbed the sandwiches and quickly headed back to my room, not wanting anybody to see me in this state.

After I'd had a rest on my bed and finished off the sandwiches I felt a lot better, but I still wasn't 100%. My head was starting to hurt and my forehead was extremely hot. I lay back in bed and shut my eyes, hoping to relieve some of the pain in my head.

I'd been laying down for a few minutes when I heard a loud knock on my door before Ronnie barged into the room, coming to a stop at the end of my bed.

"You okay?" She asked in concern, obviously noticing my pale face. I opened my eyes and grimaced as another pain shot through my stomach. I nodded my head as I curled up in a ball on the bed.

"You sure?" She asked "you don't look so good."

"Yeah. I'm fine, I just feel a bit sick" I gritted out, taking deep breaths to ease the pain.

"Jace said you were drinking earlier, how much did you drink?" She asked.

"Ugh why does he keep mentioning that, I had one drink! Mainly to piss him off" I groaned. I saw a smirk appear on her face.
