The teacher started passing out the school newspaper r that we got every Wednesday.  I quickly turned to my favourite part, the videogame column. I smiled at the sight of my picture at the bottom of the page. After all the trouble I went through to get there, I think I deserved it. Another part of the newspaper I enjoyed looking at was at the very back, it was a list of all the students that have recently been murdered by yours truly, but no one except my parents – who have assisted me in all of these murders- know that. I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn around to see Jeremy,

“Don’t you find it weird that everyone who has ever been the Videogame Champ is found dead in an alley only a few days after they win the title? Everyone except for you, that is.”

His tone doesn’t sound accusing only curious, but I still question if he knows more than he was supposed to. Thinking of it now, he always did come across as very observant. Before I can respond, he continues; “But it could just be a coincidence I guess, well I hope. I was thinking of challenging you to “Shank”, you up for it?”

“Yeah, why not? My house after school?”

He nods before returning to reading the paper.
