soobin was shocked at the response he got. after fighting yeonjun for 5 minutes, he decided to give nadia a shot. now soobin couldn't help but wonder what would have happened between he and nadia if he had just had an opened mind.

he showed yeonjun the message and his friend shot him a look of irritation

"soobin" yeonjun groaned almost whacking soobins head

"i'm sorry"

"this is why i don't try relationships" soobin said

"it's the fact that the conversation barely developed and you found some way to mess it up" yeonjun scowled angrier than soobin himself

"i know, i screwed up" soobin said bringing his hands up to his head.

"and your gonna fix it soobin. you need this. you are always putting school before your own interest. we are juniors and you haven't even had your first kiss yet. sometimes you need to live in the moment and be a teenager. school can be your first priority but not your only priority. so, tomorrow i want you to text nadia again and ask to restart." yeonjun expressed placing his hand on his best friends shoulder, gripping it.

soobin bit his lip.

"how do i know if she even wants to go out with me" soobin asked

"if she needed help with the homework she'd ask the teacher" yeonjun claimed with a small smile playing on his lips.

"okay, i'll try."

nadia had a crush on soobin, and wanted to find a way to get his number. although she knew soobin was all about school, she tried chasing after the boy anyway. she built up her courage and passed the note (she had written previously) to the person in front of her. the student, beomgyu, looked at her confused.

"pass it to taehyun and tell him to give it to huening kai who should give it to soobin" she whispered

"what" he asked not hearing a word nadia said

she huffed and told him to pass it up to soobin. he nodded and passed the note to kang taehyun.

nadia watched the note be passed up like an assembly line, and her heart fell to the pit of her stomach when she actually realized what she did.

before she could stop what was happening, huening kai had chucked the note at soobins head.

he turned back and met eyes with nadia. her heart warmed up at the simple interaction .

she put on a brave face and assured the boy to pick up the note.

now she sat on her bed surrounded by her textbooks and scratch paper and stray papers scattered across her room

it would be a lie to say she wasn't hurt that her crush had no interest in talking to her, but it wasn't unexpected. she felt a few tears brim at her eyes, but refused to let them fall. she didn't want to cry at the expected. it wasn't like her crush was going to like her back, but part of her want him too. so when she woke up the next morning with a message from soobin, she felt her heart warm up the same way it did the day before.

soobin:
hey, what i said yesterday was rude so i wanted to start over. do you wanna meet up today?

nada:
