She walked into the crimson and cream building as the wind flew furiously around her, her hair whipping her in the face.
She unlocked the glass door and walked inside the scent of coffee hitting her immediately as she headed towards the kitchen to turn the electricity on, the small coffee shop lighting up the street outside the glass window.
The large digital clock that hung over the stove read 6:27am.
She walked towards the back room to grab the small amount of supplies she needed before opening the café, sugar, napkins, plates, bowls and glass cups.
By the time 7:00am rolled around she had gotten everything out and another employee, Hayleigh Cast, had came in and helped set up for the busy day ahead, "You don't have to stick around any longer, you know," Hayleigh politely stated hoping for an answer but knowing she will not get one.
She wanted to tell Hayleigh everything, her past, her dreams, why she would not talk and what put her in this state of depression it, it just. takes. time.
Hayleighs head snapped towards the door as the bell chimed, like it did once someone came into the small shop.
"Hayleigh!" Said a familiar voice, "Just opening?" She knew she heard it before she just could put her finger on it...
