I am a regular person, yet people don't think I am. I act like everyone else, yet people think I'm weird. How do I be perfect? How do I live up to their expectations?
I stand at my locker getting my books when suddenly two kids push me to the ground. I'm frightened and scared. I look around frantically for someone to come to my aid. This happens everyday and I'm wondering about suicide... I'm useless and I have no friends. What's my purpose here? To be pushed around? Then I see a girl, a popular girl, stand in front of me and clench her fists.
"Talk to him and push him like that again, and you'll have to go through me," she said angrily. I just stare in disbelief as the two walk away leaving everyone in the hall to do their normal routines. the girl looks down at me and asks,"Are you okay Sam?" I nod and smile knowing that one person cares.
