**When You Meet**

Rose Lalonde had texted you earlier to invite you to this "party" she was throwing for some "friends" of hers. Apparently it was supposed to be this big thing because John Egbert & Dave Strider were gonna be there too. This is what you've learned in the past month since those three have moved to your school:

1. Dave thinks he's the shit and that he is bomb at rapping.

2. Rose likes to drink... Like... Seriously...

3. John tries way too hard to be cool and please Dave. Oh, and John is a movie fanatic.

Anyway, you had become friends with Rose a while back in your guys' history class, you two being sophomores (15-16 years old). Then she introduced you to Egbert and Strider. Three friends and they were the new, weird kids who seemed to have like this inside thing that no one else knew about. Little did you know that you were to be let in on that little secret.

You accepted her party invitation and walked to her house. The town you guys lived in wasn't big so it wasn't a big deal. You told your parent/s you'd be home before midnight since it was a weekend. They were cool with it, having met Rose a few weeks ago when she came over with the boys to do homework.

It didn't take long to find her house, calmly ringing the doorbell. You waited for a moment, shuffling your feet to warm up from the cool, October breeze. Rose answered the door, stepping to the side so you could come in, "My mom is out of town for a while so... Oh, and these people -uh, trolls- I know are here on Earth for a while-"

"Fucking hate this meteor."

"Shut up."

"Triggering language... Please use trigger warnings."

"Kanny, loosen up a bit."

You raised an eyebrow, stepping into the living room. You noticed several gray skinned creatures with horns. They looked like humans, sort of... Aside from a few that seemed to have fins where their ears would be. You frowned slightly, "Rose... How exactly-"

"Long story... Anyways, let me introduce you. Guys, this is Y/N. She goes to my school," Rose said bluntly. Then she pointed to each troll, saying their name as she went.

First she pointed at a couple, one of the gray-skinned creatures in a skeleton costume (Or so it looked) with a crazy, black mop of hair and stitched lips who had its arm around another gray-skinned creature who mildly resembled a cat-human thingy with wavy black hair. Rose said, "That's Kurloz and Meulin. They're a thing..." Meulin gave you a friendly smile, but Rose waited for no one.

Rose pointed to a gray-skinned guy, you assumed, with fins on either side of his head and a white t-shirt. He had a cigarette loosely resting in his mouth. He looked like those greasers from Grease Lightning or something from that era. When he noticed you looking at him, he gave you a very cocky smile.

"'Like wvhat you see, Babe?" His arrogance really irritated you a bit.

Rose frowned, "She is waaaayyy younger than you, Cronus... Seven years almost... Anyway, Y/N... This is Cronus." She carried on, Cronus checking you out now which was kind of creepy.

Almost a half an hour had passed and you finally learned the names of the trolls at the party. There was Karkat, Kankri, Porrim, Kanaya, Sollux, Mituna, Meulin, Nepeta, Kurloz, Gamzee, Cronus, and Eridan. Rose explained that there were plenty of others but most didn't care to come to the party.

"So, wwhat exactly do you havve planned, Rose?" Eridan asked, eagerness crossing over his eyes. Let's be honest... You were intimidated by how many aliens there were in the same room as you because up until minutes before, aliens didn't exist.
