Naruto vs Sasuke: brothers-the bond that cannot be broken.
This takes place after Sasuke learns the truth of itachi from "Tobi" and before "pain"
Naruto and Sasuke where rivals long ago, then best friends, then worst enemies. The traitor and the rule breaker, the uchia and the uzumaki.
Naruto tried to pull Sasuke back but he only inched away. Sasuke tried to sever his bond but it only grew stronger.
Prologue:
Darkness voided the sky as clouds swirled and tossed across the land, and in the middle of it all two "brothers".
"Sasuke!" "Hn" the two glared at one another, both to for-fill a promise one to bring him back the other to sever his bond... Neither kept their promise, they couldn't, naruto couldn't persuade Sasuke and Sasuke couldn't kill naruto. All the two could do was suffer as the people of the hidden sand watched.
Kunai wizzed through the sandy wind and more kunai intercepted them, once the two ran dry of kunai they went in hand to hand. Sasuke drew his katana and attacked in large arks at Naruto who dodged them with an inch to spare, he rolled back and removed a kunai from the sand, quickly using it to block Sasuke's deadly blade that was going for his neck. Sasuke chakra dashed back... But not far enough Naruto followed him gashing his arm with the damaged kunai in his left hand. Sasuke stumbled back as naruto continued past him and slid to a halt tossing the blood stained blade from his left hand to his right whilst glaring at Sasuke over his shoulder with eyes red with power and anger likewise with Sasuke who activates his sharingan and charges up his chidori whilst naruto summons two clones from mount myokubo (soz couldn't spell it.) and dispels them and summons two more clones to form his 'sage art rasenshuriken' then dispelling them speaks "Sasuke! This is your last warning come back to the village with me! Please!" Sasuke with cidori roaring whilst in awe of Naruto's jutsu, using one hand performing 'grand fire ball jutsu' sending a large ball of fire towards Naruto and his personal tornado.
Seing this jutsu Naruto smirked and held the spinning jutsu out in front of him like a shield.
The flames hit the rasenshuriken and were absorbed into Naruto's jutsu and now to Sasuke's surprise naruto was now holding a disk of flames that was larger than the disk of light naruto held earlier and then he spoke "I'll take that as a no... 'Sorry Sakura'" then he threw the jutsu at Sasuke who had had a lot of time two charge his chidori to its full form and release his curse mark stage two, he was ready for anything Naruto could throw at him... Or was he...
As the orange disk closed in on Sasuke, he plunged his now 'black chidori' into the blinding flames before him. Naruto's eyes retuning blue from using all his natural chakra for his rasenshuriken that was now gouging out Sasuke's stomach whilst he tried to repel it using his chidori on the core of the rasenshuriken as it cooked him alive 3rd degree burns sizzled and flesh was beginning to melt off of his body then Sasuke penetrated the rasenshuriken's core detonating it. A growing ball of flame turned the surface layer of sand into glass and left Sasuke standing burnt and blackend if it weren't for his curse mark he would be long dead.
Using a trick orochimaru taught him Sasuke shed his skin which crumbled and flaked in the wind the only remaining damage was a large scar on his belly, seared clothing and Sasuke's arm that was completely ravaged, torn to a molecular level from Naruto's jutsu but other than that Sasuke's new skin was the same as his original, naruto didn't think it would kill him but he knew it would hurt like hell. Enraged and in pain Sasuke went all out on Naruto "no more games!" He said as he was close enough to strike, and he did, Naruto was cut and slashed but still tried to purse-wade Sasuke to return. Sakura in the crowd saw this and realised why he was there and a tear fell from her eye knowing it was her fault he is in this mess and not because he was being cut and gashed by "Sasuke-kun~" but because Hinata was watching... How must she feel?
Naruto's kunai was knocked out of his hand and was at the mercy of the uchia, but he stopped the blade at the edge of Naruto's neck drawing a trickle of blood to join the pool of it on the desert floor, when the blade stopped at his neck Hinata was given a shock of terror and gasped at the suddenness of it all.
"Why?... Answer me! WHY!" "Huh? Why what?" "Why is it that you are so hellbent on bringing me back to the leaf?!?" "Because, to me, you're like, the brother I never had..." Sasuke drew back his sword and looked at naruto for the last time before slashing Naruto's head off in front of an entire village including the only friends he's ever had, then turning away from the headless mass, suddenly *poff* the dead 'Naruto' disappeared in a cloud of white smoke, revealing the real Naruto in the crowd who looked at Sasuke with disapproving eyes, then he turned and left soon followed by a village size crowd, that returned to Suna.
Naruto uzumaki and Sasuke uchia though they are from different clans at the end of the day they are still "Brothers".
Naruto and Sasuke two wardens of the village, two orphans, two paths, two brothers.
