Sonic told Rouge about that he was concerned about Shadow and asked if she would go talk to him which she did. She walked up to him. "Hey Handsome."
Shadow looked at her "hey." He didn't wanna be rude to her but he didn't feel like speaking much.
"Are you alright? Sonic is concerned about you since you're acting a bit different." Rouge said
Shadow nodded "yea I'm fine"
"You know you can talk to me about everything." Rouge said and held his hand.
Shadow looked at her hand "in Okay, honestly. Now don't make this about me. It's Amy's birthday. Make sure she has a good day"
Rouge nodded. "Alright. Do I need to send Sonic back to keep you company?"
"No im not dependent on him" Shadow said
"Alright then. Just don't get lonely." Rouge said and let go of his hand.
Shadow nodded
Rouge went back to the rest of the group.
Shadow sat on his own for a while
After a while, everyone had arrived. Vector, Espio, Mighty, Sticks, and some other friends of Amy that the team didn't really know.
Shadow watched the others enter.
When everyone had greeted each other, most went to get a drink so it came crowed where Shadow was
Shadow removed himself from the crowd.
Sonic noticed this and walked over to him. "Still not a fan of crowds I see." He chuckled
Shadow shook his head
"Wanna sit there?" Sonic asked and pointed over to a table in the corner
Shadow walked over.
Sonic walked behind him
Shadow sat down.
Sonic sat down next to him
Shadow put his drink down.
"Soo.." sonic said, not really knowing what to talk about.
Shadow looked at him
Sonic looked back at him
"What?" Shadow asked.
"I never noticed that your eyes were so gorgeous." Sonic said as he stared into his eyes
Shadow looked away immediately.
Sonic realized what he just said. "U-Uh Sorry! I didn't know what I saying!" He said and looked away as well
"Well watch it faker." Shadow said
"Sorry." Sonic mumbled
Shadow went silent.
"I made you uncomfortable, didn't I?" Sonic asked
Shadow shrugged
"I'm gonna grab a drink." Sonic said and got up
"Okay" Shadow said
Sonic nodded and went to the bar counter
Shadow looked over at the group
One of Amy's friends, a girl named Lily, walked up to him. "Hey sexy~" She said and sat next to him. "Why are you all by yourself?"
"Excuse me, who are you?" Shadow asked confused as to why she was speaking to him.
