Y/n's pov :
3 weeks later. Y/n is back, but not everything is the same.
I got home at 1 in the morning. I had to drive home bcuz my flight was cancelled because of bad weather.

11:00

Ring ring ring. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I answered my phone. "Hello" I said. "Hey it's Jack, do you wanna come eat lunch at the diner?" he asked. I started walking up to my room.

"Yeah sure, just let me get dressed" I yawned. "Ok you just need to be there from 11:30 to 12, I will probably get there around 12" he said

I checked the time. "Ok bye" I said. "Bye" he said.

I grabbed my American Eagle hoodie and my skinny jeans. Once I got dressed I put some mascara on and grabbed my shoes.

I put my shoes on and walked downstairs to grab my phone. When I walked out the door I saw Finn walking to his car with some... girl. Finn and I made eye contact and I quickly looked away.

I hopped in my car. It was 11:10, it takes me like 30 minutes to get to the diner so I know I'm gonna be on time.

I wonder where Finn and his little girlfriend are going.

30 minutes later. I had to stop and get gas which took like 10 minutes because of the traffic while I was trying to pull out.

At the diner.

Jack was there already but he was talking to someone. I couldn't see their face. I parked and when I got out and walked inside he was there with her. "Really Jack, why did you invite him" I looked over at the blonde girl " and him?"

Jack slapped my arm laughing. "Hey don't say that" he said, Finn was staring at him. He stopped smiling instantly.

"Anyways I'm here bcuz Jack invited me" Finn said. "Naw" I said " I know he invited you I was asking why he invited you and why she is here!"

"She is my girlfriend" he said smiling at her. I fake smiled at her. "What's your name?" I asked.

"Her name is Pepper, Pepper Jones" Finn said looking worried. Her name is literally a seasoning. I remember her from elementary school, she pushed off the swings in 3rd grade.

"I remember you from 3rd grade" I said "you pushed me off the swings". Finn scoffed. "That was 3rd grade" Finn said. "I know" I said staring at her.

"Let's sit down" Jack said. I followed behind and sat beside him. Of course Finn sat directly in front of me. Did he think I was gonna hurt her or something.

"So when did you two get together?" I asked. I was staring at Finn. "2 weeks ago" Finn said. I nodded my head."oh ok" I said. We sat there in silence for like 2 minutes.

Finally the waitress came and took our order, it was getting pretty awkard.
I ordered a mocha latte and a burger and so did Pepper. Jack got a Coke and fries, Finn did too.

I wouldn't even look at either one of them. "I'll be back" I said standing up. Jack look confused. "Where?" He asked. I looked at him, he thought I was about to leave.

"I'm just going to the restroom" I said. Pepper made Finn stand up so she could get out. "I'll go too" she said smiling at me. I fake smiled back.

I walked to the restroom. I was looking in the mirror re-fixin' my hair and Pepper walked in and stood beside me. "So we're you and Finn a thing before you left?" She asked.

"Eh kinda you could say that, but we're not now obviously" I told her. She nodded."I'm gonna go back and sit down" I told her. "Ok tell Finn I will be out in a few minutes" she said.

"Ok" I said opening the door. As soon as I walked out Finn and Jack were standing there. "She will be out in a few minutes, geez clingy much" I laughed. "It's getting crowded so we're getting our food to go" Jack said.

"Ok" I said. Pepper walked out of the restroom."oh are we we leaving" she asked. "Yeah it's getting crowded" Finn said.

We walked out. I was walking beside Jack and Finn and Pepper were a little behind us. "Where did he meet her" I asked him. "At McDonalds, they messed up her order and there was a bug in her food and he helped her" Jack said.

Wow how romantic. I walked to my car. "Bye see you later" Pepper said. "Bye" Jack and I said in unison.

Finn's pov :
I really like Pepper but I don't think we're gonna last. I've gotta break up with her. I walked to my car, opened the door for Pepper then hopped in.

"Pepper we need to-" "I know you still have feelings for her, it's ok I understand, there is actually somebody who wants to be with me and I like him too" she said.

"Who" I asked. "You know when we were hanging out with Jack and Jaeden at that swim party" she asked. "Yeah" I said. "Well that's when he told me he liked me and I like him too" she said.

"Ok but who is it?" I asked again. "Jaeden" she said. "Ok so you think we're better off friends too" I asked. "Yeah" she said.
