So a few weeks ago I went to Netherlands it was a very calm regular day and my mom rented a room in a very far away old hotel , we had to walk what felt like miles in the hottest  to get to the hotel finally my mom looked at the hotel and said "wow I did not expect this place to look so..." She stopped in the middle of her sentence not knowing what else to say she looks at me for a second I saw she didn't like this place any more than I did,I reactualy followed her. She went to the little desk in the front and said " Hi,I booked a room online and I requested a room closer to the ground level please " By this moment she was burning to death since it was quite hot that day and the hotel had no air conditioning what so ever. She chatted with the front desk for a minute while I stand by the door trying to get some fresh air since it smelled like cigarettes. After a minute I heard my Mom say to me " Kai , come on I got our key " so I followed her and she searched for the elevator after a minute she approached this black door that said elevator it was rlly dirty and had spray paint all over it. She used a tissue to press the button since it was rlly dirty. After about 15 minutes the light flashed and my mom opened the door and the elevator was there so we got on and it was pitch black! We could badly even see the buttons!  I turned on my phone flashlight my mom looked at what floor we were on that's when she figured out that we were on floor 17! Which means the hotel people were rlly inconsiderate about people preferences, So she pressed it on the elevator and the elevator went up very very slowly and somewhere around the ninth or tenth floor the elevator started baking this screeching sound and came to a sudden stop. My mom started to panic and it was very hot and dark so she couldn't find the emergency button but she realized there wasn't one! I trued to call the front desk but the building had no WiFi at all. My mom try to use her phone to send a call but didn't go through. She started to scream very loudly so someone on the first floor could hear her and I guess someone by the third or fourth floor heard her and went to tell the front they said they would call a mechanic so we waited for a few hours until they came they just opened the door to the tenth floor and knocked down the elevator door and we had to climb up a lader and we got out and we had to club up seven flights of stairs that felt like they were gonna fall apart snh moment so we got to the room unlocked it and it was sooooo small it had one full size bed and nothing else! There was no TV , window , bathroom or anything and everyone else just arriving to their rooms were just as surprised as us there was only one bathroom in the entire building and no showers! When we wanted to go outwe had to walk down seventeen flights of slairs! Also there is a balcony on each floor and its super scary since the rails are a single rope! Also the balcony ground was very wobbly so I thought I was gonna fall!  Also the entire room smelled like smoke and it looks horrible so after three days we went to a different hotel that was amazing! PfftSo yea that's how my trip went  -_-///
