-Zack's POV-

I webbed onto a building watching the city..but I wasn't patrolling, I was just watching the city..like a normal person. "I like being s hero, but I can't do anything right..I'm not Spider-Man if I can't save anyone if I couldn't save Sage." I said taking off my mask and looking at the stars "Why can't I do what I can do." I said as my spidey sense went wild and I looked back, but nothing was there "What the?" I said to myself as I got up and put on my mask, then I sensed a blade coming towards me and I backflipped and dove down the building I was on "What was that!" I said as I web swinged upwards then a shadow appeared, with the same blade on his back and he was running on the wall. 

"die." the shadow said as it threw the blade at me and I flipped over it "SHIT!" I yelled as I ran on the wall of a building and I saw that he was right next to me "EHHHHHHWHHHA!!" I yelled as the shadow tried to stab me by I web slammed it to the ground but he dragged the web to him, bringing me to the shadow as he grabbed me by the neck "I. Want. You. Dead." the shadow said as he was about to stab me but the cops came and he left as I went after him "What was that?" a cop said as the others shrugged.

I tried to look for him but I noticed that he was just.....gone..as if he disappeared "Who..was that?" I said as I went back to the academy and entered my apartment without caution and I took off my suit, then I saw someone "Spidey sense." I said quietly as I looked behind me and saw Peni "Peni, what are you doing here..this academy is SUPER daily on surveillance." I said "Well I came to see you Zack-kun, but you haven't been...active for the past two months so I came by to see what was going on.." Peni said as I looked around and sighed "Listen...I..." I said as I sighed as Peni looked at me confused "Two months ago, not in this universe, but in another universe, I fought Thanos with my team, half of the universe faded away and so Sage went back in time to stop Thanos from getting the Mind Stone in the past, which he did and went back to the present only to find out that Thanos was still alive and then we fought him, I got the Power Stone and fought Thanos but almost died in the process, Thanos got all the stones and almost snapped his fingers but Sage got all of them and snapped his fingers erasing Thanos and his entire army...after that he was exposed to gamma radiation and died...he was my idol...the best." I explained "After that I decided to quit being an Avenger and stop being Spider-Man...I wasn't able to save him...so I decided, hey if I couldn't save him one person, how can I save many lives." I explained again as Peni hugged me "It's not your fault that he's gone, we can't all save everyone, that's the thing about being a hero..you have to understand that, Zack-kun." Peni said as I looked at her eyes and saw myself..she was right, I can't save everyone...no matter how hard I try...I just can't. "Thanks Peni, but you need to hurry and leave." I said as Peni kissed my cheek and left to her universe in a portal while it closed.

"I knew he was trouble...if I'm going to get him without being spotted..I need an army..yes, an army." I said as I watched the city and left to find minions.
