I was sitting at a little bench writing in my journal on the platform of the train station facing town when I saw a young man with curly- behind the ears- black hair that was slicked back with a thick, long mustache and a soul patch with stubble rising up to it. Riding next to him on both sides was a man that looked a little bit older than him with full blond hair and a clean shaven face, on his other side was the youngest one, kind of a baby faced handsome looking man and short length brown hair. They rode up and all got off of their horses and walked past me into the station. I approached the white Arabian that the black haired man was riding and looked through the saddlebag and found a couple dollars. It's a small sum. I moved to the other saddlebag and opened it up and as soon as I reached inside of it they came walking out.

"Dammit." I whispered under my breath, I look up and feel my face flushing. I make eye contact with the front man. This is that mans horse. "Hi. I-I, I um- I'm sorry. I'm just hungry and this would've gotten me something small to eat at least." I say as apologetically as I could have possibly done.

"How much is it? That you have taken?" he responded

"I don't know. I can't count it. I can't really read either." I answered pretending that I wasn't able to count it, I can though. It's maybe 7 dollars

"That's alright. It's about $7. You can have it." he smiled softly at me. He had a loving look in his eyes, but behind it you could see turmoil and anger. He had a kind face. The youngest of the three looked shocked when he said I could have the money. And kind of upset as well. He huffed and rolled his eyes, walking to the railing.

"Come here." he grumbled. His face was hard and mean. In his eyes I seen... anger? And that was it. Nothing more. I scrambled up the railing almost falling, but before I could he quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me up on the platform. The man in front of me had the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen. "Quit starin' at me." he snapped out.

"Now, Arthur. Don't be hateful. She's about 19?, be gentle with her." The blond said to 'Arthur'.

"Sorry Hosea." he turned to me and his expression softened "My bad miss. What's your name?" Arthur laid his hand on my shoulder.

"Emily. Emily Rosewood." I squeaked.

We rode back to the little camp they had set up outside of Slack, a little town in the state of New Ark. It was quite pleasant. Inside the camp were multiple tents set up, a chuck-wagon, and a fire pit. Horses lazily grazed upon the grass around the camp. A beautiful brown haired woman stormed through the camp towards Dutch.

"Dutch! We have a problem!" she shouted at him.

"What is it Susan?" Dutch asked as she took him away from us.

I got down and walked my horse, Barlow, to the grazing areas of the camp. Taking off his saddle he let out a heavy sigh.

"You've done me well Barlow." I whisper as I feed him some carrots. He stamped his hoof a little and slowly lowered himself to the ground. I moved his saddle to the backside of his body and laid down to take a nap.

I awoke to Arthur shaking me awake. He looked frantic and worried.

"Wh-what is it?" I slurred out, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I snap my fingers for Barlow to get up.

"It's Dutch. I don't know where he is and I asked Hosea and won't tell me where he is. Help me find him. Please?" he begged "Please, Miss Rosewood."

I sigh, saddling up my horse, I nodded throwing my left hand up.

We ride out of the camp side by side at a pretty fast pace. He really wants to find him, doesn't he?
