chapter 7

they both made their way out of the book store with books in their hand. lisa watched chaeyoung take out her phone and searched something up. after a few seconds, she grabbed lisa hand and pulled her with her. "there's an ice cream shop near by," chaeyoung said.

after a five minutes walk, they reached. chaeyoung pulled her in and they joined the queue.

"what are you getting?" lisa asked as she looks at the different options. "mango!" chaeyoung said with a big smile. lisa felt her insides melts when she heard and saw the girl.

"what are you getting?" chaeyoung asked as she moved her face closer to lisa. lisa felt her breath stuck at the back of her throat as she stares at chaeyoung's face. she can feel her cheeks heat up, they were most probably red now.

"lisa? what are you getting?"

"oh uh... chocolate?"

chaeyoung gave her a smile.

chaeyoung ordered their ice cream before telling lisa to find a seat.

"don't you need help with the ice cream? i need to pay for my ice cream!"

"don't worry, i can handle and i'm treating you!" chaeyoung said before pushing the girl away. lisa pouts at her and chaeyoung quickly looks away. her heart beat increased and she can feel her lower body getting hot.

she felt lisa walk behind her and before she could tell her to go, lisa's arms warpped around her waist and the younger pulls her closer. chaeyoung's back pressed against lisa's front and she can feel lisa's breath on her neck.

"let me pay,"

chaeyoung stayed silent, afraid that if she opens her mouth, she would stutter.

"that's a yes then," lisa said after not hesrubg any response.

lisa removes herself from chaeyoung and looks at her red face. "go find a seat, i won't take no as an answer," lisa said before pushing her out of the line.

chaeyoung still did not move. her mouth slight apart as she looks at lisa.

"chaeyoung ah, i know you're still there," lisa said as she hands over the money to the cashier. chaeyoung quickly close her mouth and squeaked out a tiny no before dashing to a seat at the corner.

she hide her red face in her arms and looks at lisa as she walks to their seat. that's when she realise there was only one chair and she was already sitting on it.

"ah shit!" chaeyoung mumbles. "here's your ice cream!" lisa said happily before giving her the cone.

"what's wrong?" lisa asked. chaeyoung glance at the chair she was sitting on.

"there's only one chair,"

"we can get from the other tab—" lisa stopped talking when she realise all the chairs on the other tables are used.

lisa gulps before looking at chaeyoung. "get up,"

"w-what?"

"get up,"

chaeyoung got up and lisa pushed her away slightly before sitting on it. chaeyoung stares at her with an opened mouth.

"where am i going to sit—" she could not finish her sentence as she felt two hands around her waist before she was pulled back and placed onto someone's lap.

"now we both can sit," lisa said before she take a bite out out her ice cream. chaeyoung feels her cheeks heat up again.

chaeyoung stared down and tried controlling her emotions.

lisa was about half way through done with her ice cream when she noticed chaeyoung's silence.

she looked up to see the girl looking down as she licks her ice cream like a small kitten.

"your ice cream is going to melt if you eat like that," lisa said, startling the girl. she jumped lightly and her ice cream hit the corner of her mouth.

"sorry," lisa said as she bit back a laughter.

chaeyoung pouts at her.

lisa eyes looks down to her lips. something in her lit up and she could not stop herself from fantasizing about her lips. just then, she noticed the ice cream that was at the corner of her mouth.

lisa's hands wrapped around chaeyoung's waist and she pulled her closer.

don't do it, don't do it, her inner self said but she could care less about it.

lisa brought her lips to chaeyoung's face before pressing it against the corner of chaeyoung's lips, where the ice cream was at.

chaeyoung grips on lisa's shirt and her eyes widen. her cheeks heat up and she felt like she was about to have a heart attack.

suddenly, everything felt hot. especially her lower body.

lisa then removed her lips.

chaeyoung looks at her with an extremely red face.

"there was something there,"
